I think you are overestimating how big MAGA is relative to normal Republicans. Loud and in your face? Yes. Currently in control of the party? Absolutely. But can it be sustained in the long term when the bills come due...

The left has had the young in their crucible, indoctrinating them without pause. Charlie lit the fuse to change that. It's growing. The assassination threw gasoline on the fire. The left knows it. Probably true. A Vance-Rubio ticket would be tough to beat. Vance carries the MAGA flag, Rubio brings the moderate Republicans back home and soothes fears of more Trumpesque mercurial madness.
