They've won the middle because the left abandoned them. It's as simple as that. The right wing has won the propaganda war......in a blowout.
It speaks more about the followers/worshipers than anything else.
But on the plus side.....trump's hanging some really cool looking and massive self portraits on the federal buildings in DC.
The Dems in the 60s, "We've lost southern whites for a generation, but we've gained the black forever."They've won the middle because the left abandoned them. It's as simple as that.
The extremists are in charge. They are doubling down. The Dems in the 60s, "We've lost southern whites for a generation, but we've gained the black forever."
The Dems 60 years later, "We've lost almost everyone for a generation, but we're being held hostage by extremists and can't do anything about having lost almost everyone."
For all the calls of unity... There are numerous examples in this thread of why that will not happen... When you cannot have a simple discussion without one side clipping text and believing fake headlines... And using that a facts then when pointed out in full context and providing proof of their false assumptions they double down on it... There can be no unity when 1 side is unwilling to face objective facts.
You voted for a guy in a basement. Not sure you need to say followers/worshipers. Not to be outdone by being told who to vote for.The right wing has won the propaganda war......in a blowout.

I don't believe that at all, I believe the fringes have moved further left and right. But the middle is still there. The middle has disappeared. More people identify as far left or far right than ever before… hence the sentiment that propaganda has been effective.
