Charlie Kirk Shot and killed

i would have spent years in prison had i listened to my public defender
Yup.. They didn't realize how much I paid attention to who I was working with and who they were working with.. And tried to railroad me as a 1st time offender with serious time..

I've seen this posted a couple of times now.

Can you explain to me how you see trump's reply as disrespectful to CK?

I think most people would recognize that it's glib to make a quip about how a dead man can't talk anymore.

No sir. I have a brother who is a felon and deserved his sentence. But no pawns in the family.
Let's just say that I've watched the system grind known-innocents for the sausage they want--from the inside.

I have ZERO trust in the system. Heck. Look at Trump. The system was abused to destroy one of the richest and most powerful men in the world for political purposes, and it was a breath from succeeding.

That makes this entire conversation of little use. Get the transcripts and go from there.

yup, me too. after my first sit down with the public defender, i stopped communicating even with him. didn't say a word to anybody. even the day they hauled me into the courthouse, he asked me at the last minute if i was sure i wanted to maintain innocence. Tried to convince me they had me.

15 minutes later he comes back and tells me im going home that day, they had zero evidence

I don't know. But I also don't know how often denials are with or without explanation.

Looks like most are.. The disturbing thing is that there's a discuss list of appeals that SCOTUS never sees because a conference on clerk deem the case dead and therefore are automatically denied.

Similar but I did what I was accused of..I own it... But they punishment was to prove a point to others involved

They've got to have some sort of vetting process though, don't they? I have no idea how many cases they are asked to hear, but it's got to be a ton.

i was guilty as hell, just not of what they charged me with
My daughter wasn't. They charged her for a crime that they knew she was innocent of just because they made assumptions about he--including the assumption that she may have valuable testimony about someone they were actually targeting. It almost financially ruined us trying to fight it.

They play very dirty pool, and I don't trust the lot of them.

To make it better... Judges are almost always just lawyers that used to play dirty pool, but have been promoted to oversee the dirty pool.

Thousands.... But if the state appeals won't touch it... It's wouldn't stand a chance for SCOTUS.. So to me that appeal is moot...I think of a full conference of clerks is making that call they should be able to at least argue their appeal not just paperwork from previous denials

How about corruption from the top down? From the executive cabinet, to the intel community, to the DoJ, to lower courts?
Hmm. Yeah. I think I can wrap my head around that. A single person or small group of people have a corrupt MO and they use their influence and power to distribute that down the chain.

Yessir. I can see that.

Not to needlessly be a smart***... We DID see that.--very publicly to anyone with eyes and ears to see/hear it. Now that Trump has the insider view again, it's becoming VERY public.

I think you're missing his point completely. The amount of hate AFTER his death and outright joy and celebration of his assassination might make him reconsider his position. At worst I think this response is irreverent but Trump has a point.

And to answer your question many D's showed disrespect if not outright contempt, some have even slandered him in death.

If you think this was disrespectful and comments like those Trump was referencing and Kimmel's were not.......... Then there is a disconnect or you are just being obtuse.
