FBI's and intelligence agencies involvement in the flawed premise for Trump investigations. I'm sure it was overstated but the political creep into investigative and intelligence apparatus is a problem.

Forgot to mention the DOJ and investigating involving themselves in protected speech at the local government level.

The biggest example was having the DOJ intimidate/investigate concerned and involved parents at the local government level exercising their protected rights to be heard and informed.

But nothing sticks out to you before Trump’s first term. Have you ever considered that there is intentional messaging coming from Trump and his administration that is designed to erode public trust in every institution, especially the “independent” ones that might hold him or his appointees accountable? For example Inspectors General, DOJ, the Judicial Branch, FBI, etc…

This was me in my teens and early 20s. I drank everyday to overcome social anxiety and self consciousness in public and social settings. I fit in fine as long as I was loaded. Had no problem walking up to pretty girls or making conversations with new people. Sober either one of those is not likely to happen and other than Church or UT games I avoid crowds at all costs. I am extremely quiet and keep to myself unless around family or a couple close friends I have known since HS. I found out as an adult that there are lots of people who experience social anxiety like us...thought i was the only one and super weird back then. I dont know what my kids generation is gonna do but SM and texting has made them all kinda socially awkward. I think birthrates for American citizens are gonna plummet.

The PF needs more balance. If I were posting in a far left forum, I would position myself differently.
Kind of like living in GA near Athens makes me much more motivated to show my TN fandom than if I was living near Knoxville. All about balancing the scales.
