The survey was linked earlier in this thread. Anyone who actually reads it will know those numbers are meaningless.Oh, I hope you are right, I know some liberals IRL that are completely nuts, but others who are level headed, but I hope the ratios are more like what you feel they are, because otherwise we are all effed
People who struggle with connections in real life often find places online, places like discord/RedditI've heard quotes from like 40 different people and only 1 or 2 of them were like, "oh yeah, he didn't like Charlie Kirk" and the other 38 are saying "IDK what his politics were" more or less. And then he's on this discord chat where he's so tight with everybody he says goodbye to them while admitting his crimes, and he's not talking about politics with them? And he's liked by all. He's a shut-in but has lots of friends. How do I reconcile this with the idea that he is a radical assassin? This information makes it even more baffling.
He planned it for at least a week, carried it out, and attempted to cover his tracks. An insanity defense is not on the table.

In the latest poll by YouGov taken after Kirk was murdered, 11% said violence can sometimes be justified to achieve political goals, while 72% said violence is never justified.Hmm ..such as sample size, random sampling etc?if they asked people on Reddit or something that was probably pretty accurate
Okay that’s more reassuring lolIn the latest poll by YouGov taken after Kirk was murdered, 11% said violence can sometimes be justified to achieve political goals, while 72% said violence is never justified.

From the same posted link............Same poll also shows democrats are more than twice as likely to support violence. 14% vs 6%
From the same posted link............
Although the pollster stopped asking the question in the same way in 2020, the percentage of people who said it was at least “a little” justified had already risen to 36% among Republican respondents and 33% among Democratic respondents.
?????So you’re going to ignore the more than twice as likely part?
There’s an obvious problem with left wing ideology. When I argue on behalf of lower taxes, I’m not claiming you’re murdering anyone if you oppose me.
Every left wing argument on the other hand….climate change, trans, gay, guns, healthcare, covid, etc. the only side where both are proclaiming “people will die!” is abortion.
The nature of left wing ideology in 2025 create violence as a natural outcome
