Maybe an unpopular opinion, but the idea that someone is not mentally fit to stand trial I disagree with in nearly every circumstance.

Anyone with the mental capacity to plan a murder even if they’re mentally disabled, schizophrenic, etc; if they have that level of capacity to intentionally plan and execute a murder; they need to be held accountable.

You’re quoting childhood friends when his family said his change in opinion was recent. You’ve been intentionally not trying to see the thing that’s obvious to the world.

Although the pollster stopped asking the question in the same way in 2020, the percentage of people who said it was at least “a little” justified had already risen to 36% among Republican respondents and 33% among Democratic respondents.

So you’re going to ignore the more than twice as likely part?

There’s an obvious problem with left wing ideology. When I argue on behalf of lower taxes, I’m not claiming you’re murdering anyone if you oppose me.

Every left wing argument on the other hand….climate change, trans, gay, guns, healthcare, covid, etc. the only side where both are proclaiming “people will die!” is abortion.

The nature of left wing ideology in 2025 creates violence as a natural outcome
