I added the context that he was talking specifically about these women self-identifying as DEI hires. But again, if he was so obviously racist, we wouldn't need y'all translating for us to tell us what he meant.

Your mental gymnastics make you some of the last people we need to trust to tell us how to interpret him or anyone else.

Yeah maybe a bit strong but not too much. And the reasons don't matter. To use the military as an example very few officers used their. I flew with art majors. A degree gets your for in the door for a lot of things. And I am not taking about STEM degrees.

Again, he did NOT say that all black women lack brain power, nor that the specific ones he named lacked brainpower becasuse they were black. He was making the point that if they had the brain power to get the job, they n would not have had to have DEI give them an advantage over others. They could have gotten it on merit.

If he were a racist, we wouldn't need you race-mongers interpreting it for us. We could see it for ourselves.

And not just the free TN promise. Knew one kid that worked at the bowling center while he was in college and decided that wasn't for him. Dropped out and got on with an electrical contractor that was so in need of electricians they paid for his certification training. If you have any kind of work ethic and desire good pay and don't mind working a little there are many places that are starving for dependable and eager young employees. But, they are hard to find. Today's lifestyle in the youth makes getting a good one really tough.

Seriously, the trades are desparate. A rookie electrician can start at $17/hr while training and certifying stright out of HS. By age 22 or so they can be making $25/hr. My nephew is in commercial HVAC. They were in such need when they hired him, he made field lead in less than 6 motnhs and base pay is about $30ish plus job bonuses and he is still on parole. But, he's clean, and he's darn good at work. And they love him.

One of the smartest and most talented technical coworkers I've ever worked with got his degree in accounting. lol
