How do you solve any problem? Create a task force. This one should probably consist of psych professionals, law enforcement, educators, parents, lawyers, etc… investigate, pinpoint root causes (using information instead of emotion), collaborate, debate, and propose changes. Institute said changes, then reassess and start the process over until tangible change is achieved.

Yet, nothing continues to be the course of action. Just acceptance. I can’t accept innocent children dying at schools at this rate, for this reason. This just can’t be our status quo.

I will try to quote what I heard someone say.

Why aren’t there mass shootings at baseball games? Because there protected by armed guards. Why aren’t there mass shootings at the bank? Because they are protected by armed guards. Why aren’t there mass shootings at airports? Because they are protected by armed guards. Why aren’t there mass shootings at gun shows? Because every one there has a gun. We protect our money, airplanes, and baseball games with armed guards but we won’t protect our children with armed guards.
