The Bible gets cherry-picked from both sides. God doesn't call everyone to live in destitution. A rich, young ruler asked Jesus how to get into Heaven and Jesus told him plainly (after clarifying that none is good (worthy to give instruction) other than God) to follow the commandments given to Moses. The man asserted that God's command wasn't good enough and thought that there was something he could do to secure his own salvation, so Jesus put on him a task he knew would be impossible to accomplish on his own, hence v. 26.Christianity is proverbial buffet that you guys pick from to justify your actions as you see fit, and set aside the teachings that are inconvenient to your own wishes.
Otherwise, you'd all be minimalists who gave the vast majority of your worldly wealth to helping those less fortunate than you.

I’ve heard a lot of false accusations and a lot of out of context nonsense too.I found them by googling it. Some of his debates with college students have popped up in reels on Facebook. I am not making damning accusations. I am only stating some of his viewpoints were radical and outside of mainstream thought. Just because someone is following OT doctrine doesn't mean it's not radical either. A literal belief in the Bible isn't the only path to Christianity.
What's sad is your judgement of me as if your affirmation has any credibility. Additionally, the idea that you could possibly know my intentions is laughable at best and delusional at worst. You’ve openly spoke out here about the overturning or Roe v Wade. To be completely fair to you: you intentionally and pathetically have avoided direct questions on here about abortion in the past. But it’s obvious you do not oppose abortion.
Therefore: you support people being allowed to legally kill a “living fetus”.
The intentionally vague game is sad for a man of your age. Just say what you mean
The government programs shouldn't have been so overwhelming with the advent of Civil RightsI’ve heard a lot of false accusations and a lot of out of context nonsense too.
Like he said black people were better off before….whatever BS the person making the claim makes up. So I googled it. And he was talking about the family unit and how the family has been nearly destroyed in black communities by racist government programs. He’s right. The black community would be better off if government had not been so helpful too them.
All that time and your summation is people being religious for fear of eternal damnation, I think, belies your assertion of understanding religious people at all. In the main, people are religious because it brings them peace - happiness - they don't find in human construct.18 years in a Southern Baptist church, and a decade and some change as a practicing Roman Catholic; I've got a better understanding of 'religion' than the vast majority of Americans.
You being unable to control yourself from stealing/raping/murdering without the fear of post-death reprisal from god, is your own personal failing that I don't think you can ascribe to the perception of society's lack of belief in your particular flavor of Christianity.
I believe that you can’t legislate morality. I personally believe abortion is murder. Others disagree. I also believe that it’s up to the states to decide. My wife was very sick with our second child. She had H.E.L.P. Syndrome. (Google it ) a dr was going to preform an abortion against our will to “save her life” I told that Dr if he murdered my child I would murder him. Gingers Dr told him I was serious. He had me arrested. The ceo of the hospital came and told the police to let me out of the car and said they would be respecting our wishes. 19 years later I walked up to that supervising Dr and introduced him to the son he tried to murder.I may have asked you this before: Do you believe pro-choice is the same as pro- abortion?
Abortion is the issue you just asked about. The government programs shouldn't have been so overwhelming with the advent of Civil Rights
I don't know. Doesn't seem right. I didn't put them there nor have I supported those who do. Not sure why you think I could give any sort of answer as to why they are thereAbortion is the issue you just asked about.
Why are the planned parenthood clinics all within walking distance of the black community? If it’s no a genocide against black peoples then why is that. As a result 15 percent of the population has the majority of the abortions.
