The Bible gets cherry-picked from both sides. God doesn't call everyone to live in destitution. A rich, young ruler asked Jesus how to get into Heaven and Jesus told him plainly (after clarifying that none is good (worthy to give instruction) other than God) to follow the commandments given to Moses. The man asserted that God's command wasn't good enough and thought that there was something he could do to secure his own salvation, so Jesus put on him a task he knew would be impossible to accomplish on his own, hence v. 26.

I’ve heard a lot of false accusations and a lot of out of context nonsense too.
Like he said black people were better off before….whatever BS the person making the claim makes up. So I googled it. And he was talking about the family unit and how the family has been nearly destroyed in black communities by racist government programs. He’s right. The black community would be better off if government had not been so helpful too them.

The government programs shouldn't have been so overwhelming with the advent of Civil Rights

All that time and your summation is people being religious for fear of eternal damnation, I think, belies your assertion of understanding religious people at all. In the main, people are religious because it brings them peace - happiness - they don't find in human construct.

It's incredible you think Southern Baptists would be stealing, raping, murdering but for threat of eternal damnation.

I believe that you can’t legislate morality. I personally believe abortion is murder. Others disagree. I also believe that it’s up to the states to decide. My wife was very sick with our second child. She had H.E.L.P. Syndrome. (Google it ) a dr was going to preform an abortion against our will to “save her life” I told that Dr if he murdered my child I would murder him. Gingers Dr told him I was serious. He had me arrested. The ceo of the hospital came and told the police to let me out of the car and said they would be respecting our wishes. 19 years later I walked up to that supervising Dr and introduced him to the son he tried to murder.

I tell you all of that to say this. I’m not the guy to tell others they have to make the same choice myself and Ginger made.
It’s a very complicated issue. In this case I’ll be judged for my life by G-d. I’ll allow others to be judged for theirs.

Honestly….each state should put it to a vote. I’ll respect the decision of the state I live in.

Abortion is the issue you just asked about.
Why are the planned parenthood clinics all within walking distance of the black community? If it’s no a genocide against black peoples then why is that. As a result 15 percent of the population has the majority of the abortions.

I don't know. Doesn't seem right. I didn't put them there nor have I supported those who do. Not sure why you think I could give any sort of answer as to why they are there
