Charlie Kirk Shot and killed

Charlie loved America, the Palestine people absolutely do not. I haven’t just been there… I can tell you have no idea what you’re talking about. It’s fine to have a soft heart for human life but they hate you more than you realize.
You’re conflating hate with justification for harming civilians. Even if some people hate America, that doesn’t make it okay to bomb homes, schools, or hospitals. Human rights aren’t conditional on someone liking you civilians, including children, don’t deserve to die because of politics. Children there are not born hating us. That’s not a soft heart that’s basic ethics. This includes Charlie too he didn’t deserve this even if I disagree with him.

And the right supports this very thing, actually on a larger scale happening in Palestine and even in Israel since they support the war in general when both sides are evil. But it’s only a problem when someone here dies, it’s not a problem when children and fathers in other places get blown to pieces right?
Yep...take this **** to the thread for it.

Nobody knowingly targets civilians. On the flip side no civilian in the USA wants to assist the military with their lives. Bad intel happens.

What happened to Charlie Kirk was terrible, no question but it highlights a serious double standard. People on the right are outraged over a single death here, yet support policies that kill civilians, including children, in Palestine every day. That’s not consistent concern for human life it’s selective outrage. And the left does the same thing. We should be together and hate violence of all sorts. I’m gonna see my way out of this thread, I wish everyone the best

It is relevant bc everyone here is butthurt over Charlie yet supports violence when it’s backed up by the right. Screw the children in other countries, it’s only a problem when its one of our symbols or leaders.
Sniping a man in public simply because you didn’t like his politics is not close to the same as civilian casualties in a war. A war in which technically started after the largest terrorist attack in the countries history

And that’s coming from someone who doesn’t support what Israel has done at all and thinks Bibi is is awful

No. We’re having to be prepared to defend ourselves due to the overwhelming response from the left that believes the conservatives are the threat.

The majority of us want to be left alone, go on with our daily lives and not being offended or triggered by everything as much as those on the opposite side of the aisle.

What utter horse ****.

Which foreign powers are doing that and how do you know?
I know because I fell into my own internet rabbit hole about 20 years ago, and saw the entire plot laid out in detail. The invasion will come from all sides, Asia, central and South America, and Europe, unless the country somehow manages not to fall into the trap of being the nazis of the 21st century, which would entail the right in this country calling bs on trump and getting rid of him for a more moderate politician. Right now that looks unlikely and with the rhetoric of retribution surrounding this has both sides being pushed into civil war, it looks like we might do our would be conquerors a favor by defeating ourselves.

There's a thread for that nonsense

The thing is, since that time we've dealt with SecDef and Service Secretary issues because they were:

1. Former defense industry insiders
2. Career bureaucrats that got cushy jobs with the defense industry after "retiring/resigning"
3. Former military flag officers that were a part of the system they helped create

Look, I raised my eyebrows at Hegseth when he was nominated (I thought Tulsi might be a better fit) but as I pointed out to LG in one of his gnashing of teeth threads, Hegseth was an interesting choice since it has never been tried before and he was a complete outsider.

How often have you heard active duty members say "if I ran the service, I'd do it this way..."? Well, they've got their chance now. They are the ones running it. And we'll have to see how that turns out.
That's just wishful thinking. We have enough evidence already to know it was a joke of a choice. The problem with Trump is that his pool of candidates is extremely small. Hegseth was chosen for one reason and one reason only, which has been on display as well. Trump actually made some good choices his first term, but he ruined that because his ego is too fragile to give in to people smarter than him in those areas.

I would say most recently the big beautiful bill which in no longer a bill but law. It’s going to hurt so many working poor. Many of whom are Trump voters. Going to close many healthcare facilities in red rural places that need them most. Kicking about 17 mil Americans off insurance due to gutting the affordable healthcare act Medicaid expansions. Basically taking healthcare away from poor folk.

Also takes a huge chunk away from free lunch programs in public schools. I remember growing up that’s how many of my friends and I ate. Sickening.

And those savings are siphoned up to the ultra wealthy.

But as long as those trans get what’s coming to em right?
Who is the economic elite in this example? Trump?

How are the savings distributed to the ultra wealthy?

Why do the people of Palestine not run Hamas out since they hide in schools and hospitals and cause harm to them.

Many here have thought and prayed for the Hamas terrorist organization that started the war to surrender and return the hostages so the killing will stop. Join us.

Hmm. From what I read, he went to Utah State (a total antifa hotbed) on scholarship and lasted one semester. Then went back home and has been living with his family since then.

One of their own? I guess Alex, like a lot of lefties, got duped by the digitally altered picture of Robinson in a Trump shirt and/or the nonsense that he donated to Trump in 2020.
