I guess he's a nut job but he doesn't appear have a history of mental issues like in so many of these cases. Somehow he got radicalized in a relatively short period of time. Maybe more will come out showing a history but it's pretty frightening how fast this appears to have happened.

I would say his social media will come out eventually. it's quite easy for these kids to get online and get brainwashed.

I don't believe in applying the death penalty willy-nilly, but I'm not totally against it either. I personally think child molesters should be put to death. In cases where guilt isn't truly in question, that is.

A lot of really young people may not even know they have a serious mental illness like schizophrenia until mid 20s
