Yep and that's how tonight is playing out. Easy way out and $80 for 3 at Texas Roadhouse curbside. Or 3 thick Ribeyes from Sams for $42 and taters with a slightly longer wait time before he goes to girlfriends house.

He wasn't asked about Charlie or Charlie's family, he was asked how he was doing. He answered and moved on. He ordered flags half mast and had Charlie's body flown on AF2. Short of declaring a national holiday, what else would you like him to do?

As close as I was to my dad, it was my granddad I cried the most. He was a great American and a granddad every kid should have. When my father died, it took me a while to release that. And not a few hours or days. Don't think I've let the anger go yet where I can do that for my mom or myself. Except I did both funerals. Shared it with the preacher. Got thorugh my dads. Barely made it thru moms and that was it. She really wanted one of us to speak, and I was only one that said I could do it. And wrote it. So I repaid the honor to her and wrote and spoke hers too. But getting through hers was tough cause she was last one. But, when it was over it was over, and the anger came back. Can't recall I cried over my dad. Had no regrets. I told both everything I needed them to know my whole life while they were alive. I was raised by one of the worlds great men, and he had people around the world that spoke of him in that manner to back up anything I could say about him.
