Charlie Kirk Shot and killed

Maybe it was implemented because in many cases, there was a more qualified black pilot that didn't get hired over a less qualified white pilot. That was the angle my Dad used in his efforts. The comparison of resumes was his catalyst
In that case he had a totally legit stance. But, I have a hard time in theory with "more qualified". Either qualified or not qualified. Could it be an unqualified white pilot was being chosen over a qualified black pilot. That would be wrong in any slice of pie.

Charlie Kirk's suspected assassin shared messages detailing the aftermath of the killing via an online chatroom, authorities said.

Authorities said he inscribed messages on bullets referring to internet culture and anti-fascist sentiments before firing the shot that killed Kirk on Wednesday.

A roommate told officers that Robinson discussed the engravings and his movements after the killing on an online chat room, authorities said.

It is thought he used the website Discord, which is also gaming platform. It is used for communicating with others online, typically over a shared interest.

According to Utah Governor Spencer Cox, one of the bullets was engraved with 'Notices bulges OwO, what’s this?', a meme used to troll 'furries' and transgender people.

Furries are a community who adopt anthropomorphized animal personas, sometimes in a sexual contents.

Website 'Know Your Meme' points to the phrase reportedly engraved on the bullet being used online to troll Furries.

OWO is intended to represent a wide-eyed face of surprise, with 'notices bulge' referring to the male appendage.

The final unfired casing was inscribed with: 'If you read this you are gay LMAO', Cox added. LMAO is an internet acronym for 'laughing my ass off.'

Man, I absolutely agree. I don't like a lot of stuff I hear, from regular people to politicians (both sides). However, despite how strong I feel about things, I'd never want someone I disagree with killed, just over their beliefs.
Look, I think Trump is this, and a lot of that. And it aint good. But, like it or not he is CiC, and deserves our respect as such. I was appalled when he was nearly assassinated.

What's lost here is Charlie leaves behind young children. Terrible.

The alleged killer of conservative activist Charlie Kirk wore a costume of Donald Trump for Halloween, pictures reveal.

He is seen beaming at the camera while stood next to his younger brother who is dressed as a hunter with a toy gun slung across his back.

Tyler Robinson, 22, was seen in the costume in a post shared by his mother Amber in 2017, when he would have been around 14

I understood the pos only fired one shot and fled... with bolt action, how were there casings (unless he stupidly pulled the bolt to eject one before he cowardly bugged out)?

It will also be interesting to see how many others were involved... someone left the rifle at a dead drop and there are also some videos of alleged conspirators flashing hand signals from the stage to the rooftop.
Unspent

As a plant manager once told me when I was having some serious issues with how an Asst Plant Manager was acting toward me in very public disrepectful manners...You may not like the person, but you never, ever disrepsect the position.

I knew what he was responding to with the statement. My point is that plenty of blacks have been more than qualified but weren't hired simply because they were black

Bless your heart. No one is trying to flex. You need to work on that inferiority complex
And if you listen to Charlie Kirk's take on DEI, thats exactly what he was advocating for. Hire people that are the best for the position, regardless of their race. That should be what everybody wants. No way we overcome racism without it.

I thought that was the point. Not just saying your goal is to have a certian percentage a certain way. That lends credence to questioning if they change the criteria to meet that goal. If your gonna hold steadfast to the criteria and still aim to level the distribution, then I see no issue. As long as all that meet the criteria still have a flying chance. And I'm leery of "more qualified" statements. You're either qualified or not qualified.
If both meet the minimum qualifications and on has more experience, wouldn't you think the one with more experience is more qualified? Especially if that experience includes military flights in hostile air space?

Would be interesting to know. Racism in hiring practices exists, no question, and can be nearly impossible to detect without overt evidence. I think DEI can be a good thing if it encourages opportunity where there is a perceived barrier.
Agreed, as long as we aren't speaking in terms of quotas, percentages and preference (excluding experience and aptitude) in the hiring process.

I think it's useful to look at percentage of minority pilots based on race to population to gauge how your doing though. And if underrepresentation is determined causes and plans of action for more representation in the field.

The parents are registered Republicans, according to public records.

You can see Dei hire when they work there for about 6 to 9 months and they still have no idea what they're doing yet, they don't get fired or put on performance

Yes, but that doesn't mean he was influenced by his parents to perform the act.
