Charlie Kirk Shot and killed

Charlie Kirk's 'incredibly strong' wife is Too Heartbroken To Tell Her Children That 'daddy isn't coming home'

The wife of Charlie Kirk is leaning into her Christian faith after her husband's assassination, with family members struggling to tell their children of his death, according to one insider.

Jack Posobiec, a contributor to Kirk's Turning Point USA organization, spoke with NewsNation on Thursday morning about his family and how they are coping.

He told the outlet: 'Erika is unbelievably strong. At the same time someone's going to have to explain to his son and daughter why their dad didn't come home yesterday.

I mean, that kind of goes without saying for most VPs.
True, but I'm referring to his actual beliefs and ideology. Not so sure they really align with the principles this country was founded on. My concern is that he's playing a role for conservatives and getting identified with Trump. Like almost all politicians, they tell us what we want to hear until after the election. Then they show who and what they really are/believe.

Is this true?

No, what Vance said in a Feb. 2016 msg to a law school friend: “I go back and forth between thinking Trump is a cynical ******* like Nixon who wouldn’t be that bad (and might even prove useful) or that he’s America’s Hitler. How’s that for discouraging?” And other remarks re: the America First msging at the time that don't mark him as vanguard of the movement's continuation.

Granted, Vance says he was influenced by media and various hoaxes, but for a guy who's VP today, he should have been better sorted out. I'd easily prefer Rubio be the next Repub nominee.

I've seen a LOT of this. I wasn't going to post, but there is so much out there. What do y'all think about this? Nothingburger or does this have some validity?

I don't disagree with any of that, but you're also describing 100% of politicians. The principles they have align with "I need to win the next election."

Charlie landed a trophy wife. Who knew?

Depends. Vance will have a choice to make soon. Which is to either pick up the mantle of MAGA, or return to a more stable, ideologically conservative brand of Republicanism. Seems like Rubio has already aligned himself with the latter.

Don't know if this is accurate or complete, but that's not really the point. What concerns me is that our population not only has embraced AI but they don't consider the possibility that it can be wrong or more likely IMO, that AI is flat out lying and manipulating our views and opinions. I've said that social media is one of the worst things to happen to this world. AI has the potential to make it look like a church social. Personally, I consider both to be part of the "cage" that's being constructed to control humanity and the door is slowly being closed.
One should intelligently consider the backers of the development of AI and the info it is programmed to pluck from. Technically speaking, a normal internet search engine is already AI in it's most basic form. What is currently viewed as AI is just an added layer of coding to do the next great things. I can scan a blueprint into a program that has AI abilities and it outlines all the rooms for me for takeoffs and spits out square footages and stuff without me having to point and click my way through those same plans.

I personally feel Vance will peel back like Rubio or settle somewhere acceptable in between. But, I have always liked Rubio. I don't think he was ready when he did run, and it may have hurt him for future prospect. But, I do consdier him a very strong, and highly reputable candidate for the GOP.

If Vance or Rubio goes the way of McCain and Romney they are done.
