You weren't wrong with citing bullets but that's the end game. The USA isn't supposed to be about trying to silence the other side, full stop. Escalating physical violence is just a symptom of sickness worsening.

Yep. Mentioned before that he was starting to get close to some unsavory truths about some powerful people and with his platform, that could/would become a problem. Those types have the means to solve problems with a great deal of finality. Just like JFK, there will be a patsy that either gets shot while being arrested or he will get Epsteined before seeing a courtroom. The notion that this shooter could plan, carry out and disappear from that scene then be so careless as to leave the weapon with engraved messages where it was sure to be found seems more than ridiculous.
