This isn’t a professional. If he’s caught we will 100% find that out. This is a whack job that didn’t account for elevation on his target. Shooting the neck is taught nowhere by professionals. This was a center mass targeted shot that that landed 4-6 inches high because that’s what bullets do from elevated positions.

disgusting, repulsive. oppressive ideas have always been a part of our larger society. I guess it always will be. We are unable to ban thought. If we are unable to ban the platform which gives a megaphone, then we (as a society) have to become more resilient mentally and emotionally

Elon Musk Unleashes Explosive Rant On Kirk Assassination Calling The Left 'the party of murder'​


Billionaire Elon Musk slammed the Democratic party and leftist users online, castigating them for 'celebrating cold-blooded murder' following the death of Charlie Kirk.

The conservative activist and co-founder of Turning Point USA was shot in the throat while speaking to college students at Utah Valley University. The shooter is still at large, and has not been publicly identified by law enforcement.

‘The Left is the party of murder,’ Musk wrote on X soon after news broke of the shooting.

The billionaire initially posted that he hoped ‘Charlie makes it somehow’ but as it became clear Kirk was deceased, Musk’s comments increased.

Throughout the ordeal, liberal users on rival social network Bluesky began celebrating the assassination of Kirk.

‘They are celebrating cold-blooded murder,’ Musk wrote in a reply to a user. ‘Shows what we’re dealing with. Evil people.'

Musk continued blaming the ‘radical Left’ for Kirk’s murder by claiming they are responsible for numerous politically motivated murders.

‘The Left lectured us for the last decade about the dangers of violence from the Right,’ Musk later wrote.

‘From the assassination attempts of President Trump to Brian Thompson, the United Healthcare CEO, being murdered. Now to Charlie Kirk. The danger was actually on the Left.’

Numerous posts with tens of thousands of likes and reposts celebrating Kirk’s death have gone viral on social media, including on X.

I obviously didn't agree with Charlie Kirk's political ideology, but he seemed like a good person and he had a family. You really do have to hurt for them. Condolences to his wife and kids.

In this time, no you don't. You have to make an effort to refuse to dehumanize the "other", which clearly you have. Some of my own friends on FB, people I hang out with regularly and have known for a long time and go to church with, have said some reprehensible things in the last 24 hours (both left and right-leaning people). Like you said, this country is so bitterly divided. Anyone on the other side who gets hurt, ruined, or killed simply had it coming to them. It's astonishing what we've come to in the last 10-15 years. There's blame to go around (politicians, social media, etc), but ultimately we all share in it.

edit: my 2nd sentence comes off clunky. I meant you've clearly made an effort to not dehumanize the other.

IDC how good of a shooter one is, the rifle is still more capable than what one can get out of it.

Not sure that’s possible sadly

I don’t like Obama but I remember him going to a college campus (2015 I believe) and telling them they’re too coddled and to listen and discuss with people that have opposing views. We’ve been spiraling for a long time
