Charlie Kirk Shot and killed

One of the takeaways from this with private security folks in mind is they tend to watch for the close in threats like Sirhan Sirhan or Hinkley or even in Minnesota. Someone gets close with a pistol and tries to take out the target.

The use of longer ranged weapons presents a new challenge to nearly anyone trying to protect their charge. Private security just generally aren't equipped or trained to deal with long range threats like that. It's just not feasible to have counter sniper teams watching over people like CK.

Can’t argue with someone who possesses zero intelligence. Just ignore him dude. He clearly relies on quick zingers and zero intelligence
I tried to engage and give him grace, but apparently people can't be saddened or angered by an admirable man being slaughtered. It's just an excuse to become bloodthirsty I guess. Still haven't seen a riot though.

I get what you're saying and I liked the guy too. But hanging yourself due to depression and being gunned down because you engage in debate with others is a different animal.
Sure, and that's totally valid. I can't think of anyone I admire, especially in the political arena, that was murdered in that way.

Though I can say I've had two good friends who died in each way. Took me longer to process the suicide.

Good one. Another absent minded zinger. Shouldn’t you be getting your parents old furniture moved into your new apartment?

How did you know I raided one of my mom's storage units? She's an antique collector and something about moving a dining room table twice my weight up 2 flights of stairs instead of buying modular crap from Amazon just gets my southern blood pumping.

Venues should be eliminated where it’s a possibility.

I get it. I couldn't see members of his own team as sellouts. But, it's what's going around right now and what there is to look at. Don't know what the gestures were for, but the timing was awful.

If the theory is they were giving the shooter hand signals and immediately afterwards (fractions of a second later) the shot was fired it's an asinine theory since the shooter did not have a spotter. The shooter would have been concentrating on his target, he wouldn't have had time to read the hand signals and reacquire. Even if he had all three in his scope the shooter would have been focusing on his cross hairs. If he had a spotter it would be plausible.

Well

The FBI never found Eric Rudolph. A cop in NC arrested him five years later.

Way different situation now compared to 1996. Think about cell phone tracking, cameras everywhere and the forensics that have come leaps and bounds in 30 years.

I saw a press release from the Task Force that said they got the suspect on a Ring camera in the neighborhood. Something impossible even 10 yards ago, but routine today.

Well. You'd think at these kind of events it'd be protocol.

I think a big reason people are mourning is because of the movement he made in the younger generation. A lot of young people essentially grew up watching him. What other political speakers like him get tens of thousands to go listen to him on campus?

Oh i agree it will be 100% be used to justify more hate
Hate? Like what?

So how you react to things is how everyone should? Major levels of narcissism here dink.

I'm not sure how you got that from what I said. I'm certainly guilty of peppering of narcissism, but I didnt state that everyone should feel as I do.

I simply theorized that this is a symbolic death that will only serve as a vessel for more hatred. Don't see anything wrong with that.

Impossible to do especially on places like a college campus. Kirk was known for doing it outdoors and doing it big so they didn't limit the amount of people that could come. Same thing with other social media types of all political affiliations.
