Charlie Kirk Shot and killed

I only responded to maga claim of repugs being Christians. No such thing as drive thru abortion .

So now you support free health care, food stamps, housing assistance?

Only for those too old or handicapped to work. I am not a Communist or Socialist. Both of those ideas have failed every time they have ever been implemented as the primary form of government. Resulting in mass starvation of millions, death of millions, intentional mass murders and imprisonment of millions by those governments and total failure and destruction of the State. I believe in "give a hand up, not a hand out." That only those men UNABLE to work should be provided for. Never those UNWILLING to work. That is what the God of Isaac and Jacob calls for as well.

"If a man will not work, let that man not eat."
2Thessalonians 3:10

"Far more on the left" you said.

Funny that "the left" didn't storm the Capitol and use violence in an attempt to stop the certification of Trump's second election win.
Like Charlie, I'm trying to engage you with a conversation. I asked a simple question and you ignored it, preferring to take this conversation in your own direction. It shows you're not interested in listening thus you're not worth my time

We've established that we disagree that violence/hate is more prominent on the left than the right. Fine. I tried to advance the discussion beyond that and you'll have none of it. I'm not surprised. Carry on

I don’t know for sure; but i don’t see ANYTHING that could remotely be seen as a call for increased violence.

Can you maybe help me out here?
Seriously?
He said "the left wants us dead" which is beyond an absurdly stupid assertion....one only an idiot would believe.
And then he goes on to say "act accordingly". Only an idiot would be unable to understand the message in context.

Bruh...

Hitler did brainwash the movement to believing all their problems came from a certain group of people (namely Jews, bite also Slavs and Romani) and the Versailles Treaty. He was partially correct on Versailles being a significant cause of German problems.

Brainwashed a whole country actually.

Lol, people who joined the Nazi party, knew what they were signing up for, Hitler didn't 'brainwash' anyone.

It's mindboggling that you guys are trying to rehabilitate the Nazi party.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Breaking: Ammunition engraved with transgender and antifascist ideology was found inside the rifle authorities believe was used in Kirk’s shooting, sources say <a href="https://t.co/yoU5eWCXeQ">https://t.co/yoU5eWCXeQ</a></p>&mdash; The Wall Street Journal (@WSJ) <a href="">September 11, 2025</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

But don’t worry; I am sure the left will continue to claim that we “don’t know the motive”

So the theory emerging is the shooter was a trans/antifa terrorist who shot kirk and then fled and abandoned the weapon nearby, complete with trans/antifa inscriptions. This suggests that the shooter wanted the rifle to be discovered but didn't want to be caught. But if that's the case, why not just leave it on the roof? Taking the gun with him from the roof only made it more likely that he'd be caught.

Of course conspiracy types on the left are roping in regular people on the left. My buddy (whose dreamer brother is in the process of getting deported, so he hates Trump) thinks Trump is behind this, and there is a lot of buzz. Here are my rebuttals to the points he was making:

Shot distance was professional: not exactly an easy shot, but anybody can make it, so inconclusive. H/T to @YankeeVol who thinks I'm an idiot. His opinions on most things carry no weight with me whatsoever, but I will listen to him about guns. 😆

Shooter escapes: sometimes we are inept, and that is the explanation rather than conspiracy. However, if we can't even figure out who the shooter is, that's a big red flag.

Guy making baseball signs: maybe he was assisting the shooter (why would he need assistance?). Maybe he's security communicating with somebody else on the team. Inconclusive.

Trump message ready to go so quickly: I don't have a problem at all with him having a message ready when the news hit that he passed. Trump probably demanded the hospital (or somebody there) call him first with any news. You can just prepare a message in the meantime for any contingency (dead, stable, etc.). I don't think this is evidence at all.

Cui bono? - the underlying idea that Trump benefits is the most compelling point, IMO, but it's not evidence. Not only is this a distraction from Trump problems, he can use it as a power grab.

Not a vast conspiracy - I find basically all vast conspiracies implausible, but this would only require a small conspiracy.

Conclusion: not nearly enough evidence to make the allegation, but it's plausible.

The hi-def will greatly aid facial recognition software is my hope
well, I was thinking with the general public. I am sure its helpful to the investigation

personally I hate giving any of these sickos any recognition at all. I think that is a big reason for this stuff. they are sick and twisted, likely needing attention and not getting it, so they act out in a way that gets them attention.

I'm sure there are fringe people both right and left trying to exploit this. Get clicks. What have you. But I am convinced that 99.99 percent on both sides of the aisle are not ok with this, or more violence.

Yes, the left (at least some of them demonstrably so) do want us dead.
I read “act accordingly” as “be careful”. If someone is out to get you, acting accordingly means making it difficult for them to do so.

So he’s not been brainwashed into taking a hard opinion on every social issue. You can do that and still maintain your morality, you know? I’m guilty of it so I’ll bounce the first stone off my own head, but what has all this uncivil discourse done to rectify the situation in Gaza?

No one has to be brainwashed. Each is free to do as they choose. It’s just a reminder that you can’t say that and then claim to have any interest in Jesus tree teachings. People are free to say they don’t care about Jesus. It’s a free country.

The more polarizing a person is accused of being, the closer to real truths they are speaking, or exposing things that wish to remain unexposed. Whether its religion, politics, whatever. Jesus was polarizing because he brought the new law. Jews crucified him for it. Lincoln. Kennedy. Kennedy. King. 12 apostles were polarizing. Not to mention the daily eradication of polarizing christians around the world. 25 year timeline is a bit short IMO.
@NorthDallas40
In an age when math, objectivity are considered white supremacist constructs, and biology denial and the wrecking of. childrens' young life is 'affirming healthcare', nothing isn't polarizing. 20 years ago - hell, 10 years ago - border security wasn't white supremacy.

'Polarizing' in and of itself implies nothing about the 'polarizing figure', without observing who's the polarized. It's a nothing term in current context; the conversation and examination should be about the polarized whose propensity to violence has ramped way the FU in the last decade.

Don't worry, the feeling is 100% mutual
