Charlie Kirk Shot and killed

And we're still looking? Something isn't right with this one. "Radical left hate"? Not saying it doesn't exist, but that's just way too easy. The fact that this shooter was able to gain that position, take the shot then simply disappear in a setting like that is just hard to accept. Call me a tin hatter, but when a prominent individual starts getting too close to some damaging truths, it becomes problematic to some powerful folks who tend to resolve those problems with a great degree of finality. If it also leads to more division, more hate and more violence, it's a win/win for the people who want anarchy which leads to control which is the goal. I have no doubt they'll find someone they'll claim to be the shooter, but I have very little faith it will be the person who actually pulled the trigger. My guess is that person has either been relocated or more likely terminated. No loose ends.

That's not implausible. I definitely don't disagree with the argument that this was a pro.

I’d like to see a list of all the different scenarios people have mentioned or thought of.

As bad? Maybe.

Certainly not worse. I would say celebrating said violence is a far worse ideology.

It should not be surprising Walsh is emotional. I believe they were actually friends and not just acquaintances.
Kirk's murder was horrible. However the death of any other murder victim is just as grievous to me no more no less.

If you want real tin foil hattery look up a private plane with tail number N888KG.

It appears that anyone on the right that appears to be having an impact on the political direction of the country either real or perceived is at risk of being murdered. You can include any Democrat (Minnesota Speaker etc.) that goes against Democrat policy in this as well.

I have no problem agreeing with this. The problem, your side always screams gun control, pass more laws, etc. That doesn't help when the majority of shootings happen from people who shouldn't even have a gun. How do we accomplish anything, by restricting law abiding citizens, and not once have I heard anyone (here, politicians, news, etc) address the real problem. Gangs, criminals, mentally unstable people, etc. Passing more laws/bans will have zero effect on them. I'm not being smart, I'm sincerely asking, what's the plan for the real problem people? Sure, there's people who have legally bought a gun, then committed crime with it, but what about the others?
I don’t have a side. I am an individual with my own opinions and perspectives, independent of any party. We need to discuss things remembering this, first of all.

What needs to happen is we need to stop being absolutist about every belief we hold. The American system is not intended to be a zero sum game. It is meant to promote discussion and compromise to solve problems. If we don’t start with this premise, nothing will ever be solved.

This is exactly what they want. Don't be fools/tools.

Who wants it exactly? The left so they can point and say "see?! See?! The conservatives are violent just like we said!"

Perhaps if more people got popped in the mouth when they run it, they'll stop running it and have civil discourse. They'll stop doing stupid **** like that and learn respect. Sometimes people have to learn the hard way.

I saw it on Twitter yesterday where someone said conservatives turning the cheek and saying "take the high road" has done nothing but embolden the left to push further and bred contempt that they can get away with it.

Not much of a sample size of "taking the high road" from either side to draw from the past few years but sure.

Like this for example.
If you’re going to tell us what Jesus and Christians should approve of. Please show your work.

Remember we’re talking about the Messiah who turned over tables in the temple and started a riot by chasing the leaders with a whip.
Because of course since jesus was against the temple being used for loan-sharking, and chased off the hypocrites, he would of course support retaliatory murder.

I mean, it's just a logical conclusion given all of his teachings.

I think that's actually possible. If the shooter isn't found, we know he was a pro and paid by some entity for sure. We'll see.
I don’t think this is necessarily true. Doesn’t take a pro to make a good shot at 200 yards. Doesn’t even require an expensive setup. As a firearms enthusiast, with a rest and a setup of 5-700$ my 7 year old could make this shot.

As for him disappearing- this event was unprepared. CK doesn’t have any fancy security detail. Only what he personally hires. If the person was smart enough to cover his face and the city doesn’t have great cctv throughout- this could be an amateur and get away easily.
