Charlie Kirk Shot and killed

Looking like you’re going to be proven right. MSNBC should fire both Tur and Dowd

Typical. Still hoping against all odds that they have some self respect and can em’ before it’s over, but it’s likely they have no shame whatsoever. Everybody at that propaganda machine should have been fired years ago.

Agreed. He tried engaging peacefully and with reasonable discussions. Charlie asked questions to those he engaged with because he wanted to know why they believed in and what they brought to the stage for discussion.

Charlie was a threat to an ideology that doesn't believe in free speech. He convinced young adults to consider conservatism. That was not to be tolerated.

The criminal they catch will be another one that should face the chair and be in solitary confinement most the day every day.

When you allow folks to get away with this another nut bag will be motivated.

Why did you not like Kirk? In the videos I’ve seen of his campus events, he opens the microphone for discussion and debate on most any topic. He wasn’t a name caller and allowed others to speak freely on their beliefs. Kirk would correct erroneous statements and explained his view of the topics. He was the closest thing I’ve seen to free discussion and debate. Maybe you didn’t share his opinions, but if you disliked him then you should self reflect on why. I can’t see why anyone would dislike him.
I’m with you on this. I don’t follow him closely - unlike so many on the left it seems - but from what I’ve seen he is open to debate. Granted he can tend to pile on and play to the crowd generally slanted in his favor. But I don’t recall him being hateful.

I watch a fair amount of his stuff. Yes he is polarizing because he deals with controversial topics head on, but I have never seen him be unfailingly polite and respectful as possible, even to some assh*ts that confronted him.
That’s what drove the communists nuts. They couldn’t stand that he had a calm and fluent argument for all of their concerns. It’s why he was murdered.

I don't post often anymore, but this was a sad day. I'm deeply concerned about the direction we are heading in regards to free speech and the rise of political violence over the years, it's troubling to see and I feel like just a bystander in the midst of an ever growing volume of chaos. Where everyone's opinions are turned up to 11 and I can't even find room to speak, I'm just listening. I'm upset by what happened to Charlie, I thought what he was doing was a good way for people to be heard, even if people ended up disagreeing, it was healthy. No matter what I've done today, my mind keeps pulling me back to what happened. This was such a vile thing to happen and it bothers me that there are people who have lost their way, who think that this is something worthy of celebration. May God have mercy on us.
Thank you. We’re in the same boat

I appreciate what you're trying to do. But thoughts and prayers are what got us here. I'm just tired of gun violence. It's every day. Every single day. It will never stop.
Gun Violence did not slash the girl’s throat in NC. No respect for human life. No consequences for violence, no respect for law and order, no respect for decency and others property. Truly sad.

I wouldn't say that he debated on campuses that were overwhelmingly leftist

Gun violence is always there defacto excuse. It's a generic and deflecting argument that refused to hold their fellow Democrats responsible for their words and actions

Wonder if the old man wanting to be shot was a decoy. I’m afraid this may be bigger than one person.

I hope I’m wrong.
It’s definitely bigger than one person. This atheist cult has done everything they could get away with to destabilize the American government, alienate Christianity, and erase the constitution. We’re kind of at halftime, if I had my guess.

Charlie stroked with broad brush in his commentary. He often took views from the fringe and applied them to larger groups. He was always peaceful in his manner when doing it yet pointed at the same time which is why he was so polarizing.

I think, we're at about 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter and we have our scrubs in that's where I see America

No he didn't. Stop trying to pay him as a fringe. Your party has been calling Trump and conservatives nazis, hitler, fascist, for the past 10 years. The fact is your party is the party of evil and the party of depravity.

Yes like I said I haven’t watched a lot of his stuff. The last one I saw he was with Vivek, and there were some protesters way in the back, but the audience seemed to favor his opinions. With some from the left standing up to the mic to speak.

Are you holding up alright? I think it might be better if we continue this conversation somewhere private. I know how heavy and overwhelming this can feel, but it does not have to stay that way. We did not end up here because of thoughts and prayers. We are here because of actions, often carried out by people who were struggling and needed help themselves. No matter how dark or evil an act may seem, even the worst can be prevented or cut short with the right focus, attention, and effort.
No, the worst cannot be prevented. That's what's so terrible.

Me too I saw it.. straight at the jugular and immediately bled out.. it was horrific.. that looked military precision
From someone who is NOT squeamish, it was a terrible thing to see. There was no doubt in my mind it was a mortal wound. Also, there is no doubt in my mind this was a professional hit, definitely "wet work".
