I do. He was assassinated for daring to confront young people with facts and reason that the left didn't want them to hear. He was civil. He generally started the Q&A session by inviting those who disagreed with him to the front of the line. He has a lot of videos out there. Watch some and explain what he did that was worthy of death. He advocated for freedom and against the insanity that defines the left today. He wasn't mean. But those who present facts and reason to support their opinions are highly offensives to those... who don't.Not to be callous towards the man, but why do so many of you feel an emotional connection to Charlie or his murder?
You’re probably right and it may create more shootersI’m not so sure that people do feel an “emotional connection” to Charlie Kirk himself or his murder, I do however feel that many have an “emotional outlook” about what it symbolizes about the state of this country and world and about what this murder will lead to. It’s all but assured that this murder just created at least a few million more Charlie Kirks.
Kirk has lots of videos on youtube. Watch some. He was using his free speech rights to engage in civil exchanges. What he did was the SOLUTION- free exchange of ideals.I understand that point.
I just don't like political environment. I feel like the lords and ladies keep the peasants at each others throat to distract from their incompetence and enriching themselves.

I like to give you hell when I can, but outside of the VN Politics forum you’re probably a pretty good dudeHope your daughter is able to process through the trauma with no lasting effects.
And I hope there are no posters so classless, petty, and ignorant that they would continually make fun of your daughter for reacting with tears.
Unfortunately.....we have some of those.
Kirk got in people’s faces? If larger and larger groups of people feel oppressed and demonized by others… violence inevitably follows.
I’ve seen people compare this to MLKjr… MLK got in people’s faces (figuratively) and advocated for peace and equality. Kirk got in people’s faces too, but was he advocating for the same kind of thing?
Probably not because of the difference in their prominence, but an assassination with such gory detail will be hard to unsee.
I hate to hear that marcus. The same thing happened to me and I wish I hadn’t seen it.I didnt watch but my daughter did on accident and called me crying. She just saw the tag line that he had been shot and pressed play not thinking it was the actual footage. Wish I could pray that image out of her mind but I cannot. She has a Beyond the Basics Bible study class after church tonight. Hope she skips it and comes home so I can comfort her.
Edit: I trust that God can comfort her better than I ever could. I just selfishly want her with me because she is upset.
