I hope CD comes back to UT in an admin role after his kids finish school and start their own careers.

He's one of the most respected draft and NFL analysts out there right now. If he really enjoys doing this not sure we'll ever see him leave that role.

Great interview..his emotion at the end talking about teammates who are gone too early made me start to get a little teary eyed. You could hear in his voice how much love he has for those guys.

I really think that football being the most team oriented sport creates a family like no other sport can.

When you have to trust the guy next to you or in front of you enough to keep yourself from being seriously hurt. It makes you closer to those people then many you are actually related to.

It is very similar to the military in that respect. You have that same feeling of family, sometimes a deeper connection then that.

I feel very fortunate to have experienced them both.

CD is a well respected man and I'm proud he's a VFL. Some people are just a little extra special and he fits squarely in that category.

Charles Davis would make a great AD...
He was assistant Athletic Director at Stanford for a short stint.
