Charges against Janzen Jackson dropped - Should he play?

When should JJ play?

He was under suspension and in trouble again before he could even get back on the field. I suspect he is a piece of trash. Smells like a Fulmer type of player to me.

The Fired Coach could not have gotten JJ to visit the campus.

What exactly did he do wrong in your eyes? Being with two teammates and a broad?

Enlighten me.

Since charges were dropped, he should be allowed to contribute to the team.the team has lost a lot of players and its not fair for those remaining players to keep him out longer just to make a point. Everyone has suffered enough and the guys responsible are being punished. Time to move on and play for the good of the school.

I'm not saying he is a piece of trash. I just see smoke, that's all. Seems to hang out with the wrong types, been in trouble twice already (that we know of) as a freshman, etc.

Hope he proves me wrong. I want him to do well IF he is a good citizen.

Let's not forget the edge walking either. No way three games is enough for an edge walker. He's gotta go. The damage he has done to the image of UT and Kiffin's role as a disciplinarian is irreparable. Nevermind that from the very beggining of this whole incident his involvement in the ordeal was questionable at best. Also disregard the fact that all charges were dropped. Please ignore the fact that the two boneheads that were involved in the great heist have been booted off the team. Kiffin's gotta show everbody he means bidness when it comes to edge walking, and breaking curfews (that don't exist). Obviously, JJ has to go.

come on now you are going to scramble some brains with that

I disagree.

As long as it only scrambles the brains of the few that it was intended for, which means it will probably miss the intended targets. I shall suspend myself indefinitely until those intended targets think I have finally learned my lesson.

J.J. isn't going anywhere except beefing up to kill offenses next year. As much as I'd love to have him this week and the Bowl game it'll be next spring (hopefully) b'fore we get to see him rattling heads again.......

That's good enough for me. Let JJ play!

I believe there is a greater than 90% chance he starts this weekend. If the Administration and Staff truly believe what the AD's office said, they will full re-instate him and allow him to practice. If they think he has paid the price and learned his lesson, I would LOVE to see #15 out there beside #14 cracking heads. The alternative is yet another walk-on that noone has ever heard of trying to stop one of the most dynamic players in the country (Cobb). The fact that Cobb is playing at UK just speaks volumes at how far the previous staff's evaluation and recruiting skills had fallen off the planet. Makes me sick to see that kid in Blue.....

To me charges dropped obviously means he is innocent and like it never happened therefore he should not be punished anymore and should get to play against UK.

Good grief.....people saying JJ has to go?! Ole Miss Killed our defense...Yeah i know one guy couldn't have done it all,but McCluster would have had more of Eric Berry in his face if JJ would have been there...And seriously...Do you really get rid of a guy who was and probably still is gonna be a freshman all american......get real people..Get off your horses....if this would have been a kid you were family of or close to your outlook would be different...He's innocent...charges dropped......Do you really want him playing for Les Miles or Urban Meyer..or even Nick Saban, cause I am sure they would be glad to have him.....I say Put him back in...Let JJ play..........on another note...whats the ruling on coaches playing if they have elgibility left cause kiff knocked cromp on his butt after that wes brown td,,,that was awesome!!!!!!

Hell guys Foolmer was here for nearly 2 decades and was wrongfully accused of being a good coach. We even paid him.:)

And paid him well. :rock2:

If Vol fans like Coach Kiffin as much as they say, why not trust his decision on this matter and live with it? Or if necessary, learn to like it?

I would think Kiffin would announce or answer a question during his weekly press conference and not schedule a separate one. Today is the day he has his weekly, or?

I say, let him play. He paid his due enough. The kid is only 18 and should have learned alot thru all this crap.
