Change is Inevitable

The only thing that is inevitable with this disaster of a program is continued failure.

Only this coaching staff could completely screw up a situation where the preponderance of the interest in tonight’s game was getting a glimpse of the future of the program by watching HB in action.

But, yeah, they screwed it up.

Another poster made the point that we have moved away from teachers to recruiters in coaches. Since last year I think you’re seeing the effects of that. Blame for that falls on Pruitt but it’s hard press to think that one season we could be this dramatically awful with basically the same team as last year. Our competition hasn’t gotten better either to explain the drop off. I do think anybody but JG should be the QB moving forward. I also haven’t moved totally on from Pruitt as long as he has moved on fro JG as QB. I think he has what it takes to be a good coach would hate to lose him and he later on become a great coach. Sometimes the timing is wrong for both and this may be that but I do think he has to go back to teachers and not solo recruiters for coaches.

I have to agree. We will have to fire Pruitt either a year from now... or now. What has to be done eventually, should be done immediately. He is not head coaching material. At least, not at the SEC level of competition.
