Change is coming

I understand everyone's emotion after this showing today. Times have been tough and the tough keeps getting tougher.

This I know for sure as my stance has never changed.

DD is done. He will not be the coach of our beloved Vols after the Kentucky game. A big hire will be made and Gruden will have to tell us no. Step back and realize the darkest hour is just before dawn.

Hate to tell you but you're a little late to the party ... old news.

Best show ever! Well I was Dool-Aid drinker and wanted one more year but after today I just can't do it anymore.

I totally agree. A 4-4 mid-conference team is not one you go down to the wire to win against and gain support from administration. Change has to occur.

It is always darkest before it is pitch black.

Read my other posts. I don't believe DD will be fired until after the season is over.

Here is who is gonna hear from us.
Gruden
Mullen
Strong
Patterson
Peterson Petrini and Tressel if A lot of others turn us down.

who is Peterson?

Actually the darkest hour is about 3 hours before dawn.

Haven't you guys heard? Dooley was fired following the South Carolina game.

Likely scenerio is that we win out BUT I can see us losing to Missouri. Should we lose to Missouri, I would not be shocked.
Our list of top candidates will yeild no interest, so Dooley will remain here for an additional season. By default, of course.

After next season, the job will be offered to other coaches again. However; this time, no one will take the bait. They will see that our roster will be thin. The entire starting O Line will be gone by either graduation or to the NFL. Our starting q.b. will be gone. 80% of our passing offense will be gone. Hunter CP will be gone. A.J. and Curt will leave early for the NFL.
So our roster will be desimated. If a HOMERUN coach won't come here now, then why would we be able to attract one when our roster is thin in 2 seasons?????

Are you the same liar that's been hollering this nonsense about press conferences. You guys need to stop with the blatant LIES. So called inside scoops in the athletic departments. A lie is a lie no matter how you spin it.

Not sure if it is an insider, but you don't have to be a rocket scientist to realize our boosters and fans will not stand for a horrible product on the field.

Gruden: name recognition will help with national recruiting. The man lives for the game, studying the enemy to find weaknesses and opportunities.

Peterson: Obviously a great coach and face it you have to be a great recruiter to get West Coasters to come to remote Boise. If he can do that then he can pick up 5 star talent just about anywhere including his present West Coast feeding grounds.

Smart: Defensive guru who can recruit well in the South. No head coaching experience.

Strong: Good coach evidenced by winning record and especially against closely matched opponents. Black coaches have a natural advantage in recruiting, a trust and a loyalty IMHO. I would have put Sumlin on the list but he is in a better place...for now.

Patterson: Great success in winning the tough games. Can recruit Texas-OK.
