Change coming?

With all due respect, I have been around long enough to see “the backup QB” become “the most popular guy on the team” many times.
In this instance it has very little to do with the backups and everything to do with JG

It would kill you if BM came in and had a productive day. You would go on and on about JG meaningless stats and how it was just UTC.
It is just UTC for one. The coaching will have more to do with the stats than anything.

I would love for BM to complete 100% of his passes and play perfect like they want from JG.

It's not likely to happen.

How do you know? I'd give him a chance, remember we're 0-2, it can't get worse. Even if he doesn't "Play perfect", he could deliver our first W of the season, something JG, has not done......

If it did happen you would go on and on about JG stats and completion % under 10 yard throws in the 3rd quarter in games that started after 3 pm in the month of September.

Not saying I do not agree with you, just not sure I understand your comment. I am only saying that you can’t count any backups out. At least they deserve an opportunity to get on the field and see how they respond.
I think JP by saying publicly that JG is best we have that he may have been trying to ignite a backup. If I was a backup I would have the attitude of “the hell you say coach.”

JG had a productive day against Auburn last year. Did anyone die? Just saying.
well, since we're talking about last year how about Vandy, Florida. We could speak to this year, this game is more than about stats on a sheet of paper. Do his individual stats mean a damn thing in the win department? No, he is what his record says he is.

Thought Pruitt already said it was clear who the best QB has been the past 6 months?

It'll be tough to get back ups playing time if they sputter and bumble their way through yet another game.

Whats his emoji implying? Is he like saying "I got this" or is he saying "yeah right Volnation will show up"?

I also remember a bunch of idiots, really, I mean idiots, right after the game, posting stuff such as: JG is getting better every week woowee, JG is returning UT to national prominence and What a performance from JG wooooweee. These type posters almost never return, after more data has accumulated and admit they were smoking crack at the time of the their post.

I just spent some time comparing JG and BM stats, and watching Hudl highlight videos from high school. I'll just say BM was way more productive than JG in HS, with way less starts. I know, it's just high school stats, but that is what got them here. From the Hudl vids, BM looks like a guy that can make chicken salad.
BM-7693 yards in 29 H.S. starts
JG-3028 yards in 42 H.S. starts

As much as I’d like that tweet to mean something, I don’t think it means he’s starting. It probably means he’s been told he’ll get to play once we get up by 63 points, a safe distance between us and them so when our DB’s give up a few long TD passes, it won’t matter.
Bold of you to assume UT will score 63 points😁😁😁
