With the running game not working I'd like to seen some quick throws to the RBs out of the backfield.....use it like a running play...Maybe some toss sweeps...screens. Make the defense play sideline to sideline. I thought it was a very vanilla game plan. Sometimes when you are out manned you got to be creative.
Georgia actually took some of that away. The interception was a pass to Gray out of the backfield. They were keying on check downs when bringing pressure, knowing JG would instinctively check down rather than going for their throat. We needed to take more shots downfield, which has been a theme with JG at quarterback. The only time I can remember him taking consistent shots was against Auburn in 2018.
