"I don't see it as easy as you guys do. We have mistakes in our details and we're still very sloppy. (Bray) throws accurate balls, and we're catching the ball right now. Is it easy? I don't know. Every game, I don't worry about that with that kid. Not a lot bothers him," Chaney said.
"He just goes out and plays. I don't know if he knows if it's first-and-10 or third-and-2 half the time. He's just playing ball. That's what makes him a pretty solid player sometimes."
"It can get that way, but my wife's a pharmacist and I'm heavily sedated right now. So I don't need to worry about it," Chaney laughed. "It's part of growing up. I would say that 90 percent of the freshmen we're putting on the field can't tell you down-and-distance if we ran out there real quick and tested them.
"It's not unique. You want your quarterbacks to have a great awareness of everything, but he's got a lot on his plate. If he catches the snap and throws it to the right guy accurately, I'm very happy."
