After watching that game tonight. If by some miracle we can slow down their running game and force Bama to have to rely on McCarron[sp?]to win, we have a shot to win and so does anybody else that plays them. That guy is worse than Macelroy. Maybe having these huge LBs will pay off in this game. Of course we would also have to get far enough ahead to force this..and there is the rub. That defense is rough.

I had to work and only saw the first quarter but it seemed like the Bama DB's got beat a few times early in the game. We will have trouble stopping their run game but it seems like we might be able to pass on them.

McCarron is flat out terrible. LSU can easily beat them by just loading the box and not imploding when they're on offense.

We should get blown out - but Bray still could throw for over 200 yards against their secondary.

If Bray is still alive after the first quarter. Florida only got them early because Bama was focusing on Demps and Rainey.

There is a chance...I mean Appy State, JMU, they had "no" chance either. I think that our chances to pull one off against BAMA (even though its in Tuscaloosa) is better than beating LSU at home simply because we are playing them a week before a possible #1 #2 matchup with LSU, they could overlook us by focusing on that game

Bray is gonna have to throw five td passes. we cant fumble the ball or have bad snaps. d is gonna have to step up big time and wrap up. we get a lucky break or two maybe a defensive or special teams td then we might win......probly not gonna happen though

Yep, they were forcing Branley to beat them deep, against us they will force Poole to beat them on the ground. Our O line would have to play a hell of a game for us to even keep it close.

The problem with McCarron is nobody has hit him in the mouth and leveled his smarta$$ yet. Once that happens (and it will) he will fold like a girl.

I am not disagreeing that Tennessee will have to play the game of the last 3-4 years to beat BAMA or LSU but I just dont like people who say there is no chance like we are from DIV II or even a mid major...we are an SEC team dang it

UT lost by 10 to Florida.
Florida lost by 28 to Alabama.
Do the math.
I don't like our chances.....at all.

Our chances of beating Bama = ZERO

They make you one dimensional. Bray will pick them apart but we won't be able to run. Then they can just zone up like they did today. We will give up at least 35 pts so we would have to score 42. Don't think so.

You guys are not much on reading comprehension are you? :) I do not expect us to beat Bama. The chances are extremely small. However Bama does have a big weakness. I know that we most probably are still too young/thin to take advantage of it, but the weakness exists. Bamas QB is garbage.

Yea but in 2009 Bama beat florida 32-13, and we lost to them 12-10. Obviously different teams then, but this happens ever year in the SEC, any given saturday...

I thought it was general knowledge that you dont do game comparisons like that??? I mean they could overlook the Vols, they could have an injury between now and then, Jesus could come back, there are a lot of reasons to at least PULL for your team to get a W. Dont give me that "I am being realistic" garbage either. I understand that on paper they are the superior team BUT there have been many superior teams that have lost in the past and BAMA is no different
