I agree that this could cost us the SEC title this year. We just don't have the OT depth to replace him without a big drop off.

Knock on Wood, Knock on Wood.... This time of year has killed us in the past, let this be it Please! Kevin Burnet, Inky, Justin Hunter.. were early injuries that destroyed the team

I don't think anybody is confusing Jumper or Kendrick for a first rounder, no offense to either Kendrick could still outrun and i am at least 100 lbs lighter than him.

just asking where the confidence is coming from for Kendrick, you said he had proved it and I have yet to see from where. I am not saying he is going to suck, but like with us vs Florida I am still in the "see it to believe it" mode.

Jeez it's like some of you guys can't wait for something bad to happen so you cry a freaking river about it. We'll be alright or we won't. Highly doubtful Hall will be our only injury upfront. May be a blessing in disguise. Get Kendrick some reps and get Hall back healthy Florida week. Could be a lot worse.

Geez give him a chance. Players do improve. I'd like to go back and read how many crucified Kyler at first. If meniscal repair 4 months if menisectomy 3-5 weeks. Sounds like the latter. GBO

I agree players improve. Kyler ended up on ESPN.com All SEC team and 2nd team All SEC from the AP. I'm not saying Kendrick is going to do the same, but give the kid a shot. Besides it sounds like Chance should be back by the time we hit the meat of our schedule.

This isn't comparable to Jumper filling in for Kirkland.

Kendrick is capable...we will be fine.

I get it Kyler isn't playing for a NFL team, that doesn't mean he didn't improve as a player at Tennessee. I'm not saying Kendrick is going to improve I'm just saying kids do improve from time to time. All I'm saying is give him a shot, it's not like the towel boy is being put in the starting line up

Hate to say an injury could be a blessing in disguise but it could get one of our guys meaningful snaps before the meat of our schedule. Hopefully chance will be back and ready for Forida.

We have 2 weeks til game 1 as of today. 8 days to prepare for VT. Then its 2 weeks to Florida. Don't really see the problem here. Hall will be back practicing by the OHIO game and we won't play him that week. I say sit Hall for UF game until Kendrick becomes a liability. Then you put him in if it's needed. Otherwise he gets to work in on the road over the next 2 weeks. No worries here.

Kendrick becoming a liability=Dobbs running for his life or sacked. Start Hall as soon as he's healthy if he's a better option than Kendrick.

Get well soon Chance! I believe he was already scoped and is just recovering.

Drew and the Fab Freshmen need to step it up!

I think we will be alright but I also think that Chance is probably our best lineman and certainly on par with Robertson and Thomas.

Depth is now an interim concern. 4-6 weeks.
