Chance Hall Injury

Lol. The 2014 O line was abysmal.

Jones is a guard. Blair sucked but also isn't on the roster.

The other three are true freshmen.

If Hall didn't play as a true freshman, we wouldn't know how irreplaceable he apparently is.

And Jones can play any position on the line.

Did you and I play high school football together?

And yet, we all survived salt tablets, "get out of that water!", what water you got was out of a hot rubber hose, 2adays for three weeks straight, playing with a broken bone cause he didn't wanna come out, and no trainers, just a coach taping kids up! Amazing. If World War II hadn't happened, we might make a case for The Greatest Generation!

It was good to have Kendrick in Richmond rearview for competition's sake. That's gone for now.

Kendrick is good enough for Appy, but I would like to have Chance for VT fwd.
Not only is Hall better IMO, but Kendrick being 3rd means he's looking for PT. Therefore the others have to push to get better every day. None of our 3 are elite yet. And to become good at the down field game we need really good tackles. Helps if they can open some running lanes too.

Was just getting the courage to sue my HS coach for risking my organ shutdown...then he freaking died! Clever bastaj!

Have you watched our line block the past few years? Much easier to move a tackle inside than moving a guard outside.

We are thin at tackle. No way to sugarcoat it.

Didn't say it was easier. I just think we have the caliber athletes now that could move outside and got the job done. It's not a crazy feat

Just throwing it out there but it was mentioned a few practices ago that Austin Sanders was getting in work at RT and was looking pretty good

Losing Hall is horrible news. I hope he is able to come back soon. I know he had knee issues in high school as well. We are not going to be nearly as good on the OL with Kendrick as his replacement. Hopefully Hall makes it back before the Florida game. We have the worst luck. Last year it was Jackson and now this year it's Hall.
