Chance at Doug Marrone?

I wouldn't mind seeing Chavis go. Jon Fox I think will be fired at the end of the season...we could make him next DC :dance2::dance2:

I'd be very surprised if Marrone left the Saints for a college OC position. Head coach, maybe, but not an assistant.

Maybe Fulmer/ Hamilton could offer him the same deal as Fisher got at Florida State?

Maybe, but Phil isn't exactly as long in the tooth as Bobby Bowden. And it's no secret that Bowden has largely been a figurehead on the sidelines for some time now. How much of a time frame would they give the guy?

Not a big fan of the Saints system. It's complicated and after that ill advised reverse that lost the game for them against Tampa Bay, I just haven't really cared for it.

You're right about Bowden I had a buddy play for Florida State in the late 90's and even then Bowden almost never showed up for any practices.

That wasn't so much a flaw in the system as it was a boneheaded call of monumental proportions. And after watching that less than 24 hours after the SECCG, I was just about ready to swear off of football for a long time.

Show Chavis the Door and welcome in Chicago Bears Defenseive Coordinator! or the Baltimore Ravens Defensive Coordinator..

That won't happen, along with Doug Marrone jumping ship at the Saints. Maybe a position coach in the NFL would take the job, but not a coordinator.
