He does want A&M. His daughter attends there... but he’s ready to accept TN if and when the offer comes.

Chad Morris is Butch Jones 2.0. He has no idea what he is up against in the SEC. Hopefully he stays at SMU

I coached a couple seasons of U-6 and U-9 soccer so I think we're about to get down to coaches on my level. I'm expecting a call from Currie any minute.

"SMU’s Chad Morris decides he is not interested after all for the Tennessee job. He was scheduled for an interview today.

Tennessee has now had 4 coaches turn down the possibility of becoming the next head coach."

Nobody wants to take us to the dance. Sad....

Please no. We have NO out if we looking at Morris. Chad Morris couldn't coach a pack of hamsters out of a cage.

Wrong. He is a solid coach. Not flashy but a good coach. He took that pack of hamsters at SMU from 1-11 to 7-5 in three years and that's not easy to do..

Successful offensive coordinator at Clemson - good recruiter - better year every year at dumpster fire SMU. Hire the man and give him the money to hire a good DC.

Sorry but you take away the PSU stuff and he is the offensive version of Schiano. He got better records but in the end hasn’t really accomplished anything and his sample size is smaller than Schianos. We all saw what a couple great players did for Lyle, that’s exactly what schiano had during his best stretch and could also be why SMU is better than most years.
For a coach that has barely made bowl eligibility I want a bigger sample size before handing him the keys to UT.

At this point an unknown coordinator is a better candidate than a proven mediocre current hc.

Let's be patient for a little longer. If Currie tries another dumpster hire - we all know what to do - light up the fires again! Till then, patience grasshoppers.
