Chad Morris (Clemson OC)

This name has been slightly tossed around for a while and I think it deserves more attention.

I know Morris doesn't have top level HC exerience but if we end up going coordinator I would MUCH rather have Morris than Smart.

Morris is almost all but responsible for Clemson's success the past two years and is an offensive genius.

He will be a great coach somewhere someday.

I agree he shouldn't be our first choice since I think we need a coach with HC experience, but if we miss on Gruden, Peterson, Patterson, Mullen/Strong then I think we need to go with Morris.

Thoughts?

Did their win over a Wake Forest team Duke beat bring this up? I'd rather have Cutcliff than a coordinator. We aren't in a position to take a chance again. BTW I don't want Cutcliff either.

The ones that write the checks do not want a coordinator. You can rest assured of that.
