Watching these defenses makes you realize just how bad the Vols were. So embarrassing of a difference. These offenses are working for every inch. Lanning is having to go for multiple 4th downs and bringing out all the tricks.

If this was Tennessee playing - you would all would be complaining about the lack of offense and saying that our offense was bad.

And if we were holding a team to zero, you would be saying it was because the other team was a bad offensive team.

Tech QB is the weak link so far. I know the RB fumbled but the QB has consistently missed outlets.

Not only do you see talent, just the football IQ to match. Still a half to go but the talent, iq and coaching to maximize it.

I asked myself that question but then it all made sense when I found out it doesn't stop the clock. They took away the yards and get 10 more negative yards on the penalty.

Defenses are really good. TT offense is been terrible today.
Oregon offense moving the ball but self inflicted bad snaps and fumble and inability to run has kept TT in it.

These defenses are not as good as Miami - no where close.

They don’t have the same matchup issues at DE, but I think TT is better on the DL overall than Miami. Oregon is better in the secondary.

TT is so strong inside and at ILB.

All I want for Christmas this 2026 is for our defense to be even a fraction as good as either of these defenses.
