CFP Red Raiders vs Ducks

I don’t have a problem with the bye as much as I have an issue with taking 3 weeks off and then having a team from Eugene play a team from Lubbock in Miami. Even Dan Lanning said the game needs to be in Lubbock. The more on campus games the better . The top 4 seeds deserve a home game.
Just play it like an ncaa tourney bracket. No bye 1 plays 16 at home etc.

People are using the Illinois game to say TT would wreck us. TT wouldn’t beat us with our opt outs playing.
Anyone putting stock in the result of the Illinois game needs to need to face reality that it wasn’t the regular season and that we will look much different next season. It’s suck to end on a loss, but this isn’t 10 years ago.

yep. Bowls don’t mean jack **** anymore when it comes to evaluating a team.

Like, does anybody care that Arkansas beat Texas Tech in a bowl last season? Of course not. It affected nothing. Like you said, it’s not 2010 anymore. Bowls, while still fun, are more often than not two skeleton crews these days

Yeah, I have no problem with continuing to run and try to score. Oregon couldn’t completely run the clock out so might as well keep running plays.
I thought they might false start on purpose to get the run-off and then the clock would start again and that ends it. If TT declines the run off, I'm definitely trying to score though.

Hopefully,it ends with the Indiana and Alabama and I would love to see Ole Miss make it 1-7 with a win vs Georgia.

Lanning being a little classless there at the end already up 16-0.

I thought it was classless then I looked at the other side of it. Oregon offense did almost nothing all day. TTU took their lunch except the TTU offense ruined any chance they had with an outstanding effort by the Oregon defense.

Lanning needed his offensive to show some grit which is something they struggled to do all day.

4 seconds is the difference between classy and classless?
No - just saying that for your scenario to play out there would need to be much more than 16 seconds and the team that needed to come back would have had to be showing signs of being able to score quickly. That was not the case in this game.

TTU was NOT going to score in this game - that was a given. So no need to add to the score.
