Ohio State is the weirdest program. They’re always good, but they can’t keep it together in back to back years, no matter how much talent they seem to have.

That's more a testament to how difficult winning back to back national championships is.

If Miami wins the playoffs with 2 losses, a year after Ohio State pulled it off - we’re going to see an expanded playoffs. This whole time we had to have undefeated teams in over two loss teams is looking suspect.

I think the momentum is with the teams that play in the first round and those are normally the ones with more losses. I think the byes work against the top seeds.
