Here it is in case anyone on VN is interested.

Of course they pick Bama big, but they give some nice respect to the rivalry.

Alabama vs. Auburn might be college football’s greatest rivalry, at least until both Michigan and Ohio State rock again at the same time, and Tennessee vs. Florida might have put together a magical run of games through the 1990s, but Alabama vs. Tennessee is the SEC.

Started back in 1903 – at 24-0 Tennessee win – and played 91 times since, this is football in the south. This is what old school SEC fans really consider to be the matchup of matchups in the great conference, and this is the tradition-filled matchup that’s been a mid-October special for generation after generation.

if Bama’s head is already focusing on LSU, this could be worth paying attention to. And if Tennessee pulls off the shocker, it could turn out to be the greatest upset in the history of one of the SEC’s greatest rivalries

All depends on Simms.

If he keeps making dumb throws, that score sounds right. If he can manage the game and keep our D off the field as much as possible it will be closer.

If we score 9 points I will be impressed...We are not on the level of LSU and Bama it is a fact. That isn't a bad thing considering only one other team in the entire NCAA is on their level.

We would have been hard pressed to compete in these two games guns loaded.

We stand no shot in this one...just watch and try to enjoy it as best as possible.

I much as I hate bama I never want to see them left off the schedule. Love hate, I guess.

That's pretty crappy research. The first game was in 1901, and it was a 6-6 tie. The 1903 game was 24-0, but Alabama won, not Tennessee.

Hate Bama more than any other team,yes more than the Gators,but we aint nowhere near their level yet its kinda like NFL vs Pop Warner mismatch 41-9 does sound about right though.Man i hope Tennessee can pull off the shocker of upsets at the very least knock T.Richardson out for the game and season.

Bama is firing on all cylinders right now and plays some very physical ball. I believe they will best LSU and be on the way to representing the SEC in another NC game.

It's gonna take 2-3 more classes for our guys to get back to that level. I just hope we come away with some positives for the future and no injurys for either side.

Hey thats football we lost bray and hunter i wont shed a tear if Richardson tears a ACL against us.Does Tennessee just get everybodys bad luck here lately?

There's a major difference between not getting upset when an opposing player gets injured and actively hoping that it happens. And no, Tennessee did not get everyone's bad luck. Ask Florida and USCe.

Hoping for a player to get hurt is crazy...these are people...not video game characters.

I agree.

Two things.

(1) Never wish for a young man on any team to have a debilitating injury. You beat the other team by out playing them. Yes, they are our enemy on game day, but they are all young athletes who made a choice of which program to play for, for their own personal reasons.

(2)Even if Richardson were to go down, Lacey (check spelling) is just as hard to stop and we'd be hard pressed to do so given our current level of play.

We WILL get there. Just give us a couple more good recruiting classes and we'll be back!

At the end of the day, these are just kids (at least when you are as old as me...). Never, never WISH for an injury to any player. Play your best game and be good sports. Tennessee may lose this game, but the VOLS will certainly be back and beat BAMA's butt again, hopefully sooner rather than later. Stay classy VN.

Pretty pathetic that someone would wish injury on a 22 year old athlete who is just trying to make a career for himself.

41-9 sounds about right. It'll play out like LSU. Keep it close the first half, get blown out the second half as our lack of depth begins to show.
