It looks like a perfect upset for multiple reasons.

First, look at the schedules. UAB was our let down game sandwiched between UF and LSU. We are LSU's let down game sandwiched between WV and UF.

Third, it won't take a large amount of yards on offense to beat LSU based on their offense's production so far this season.

Fourth, we have a good record recently playing in Baton Rouge.

Fifth, LSU is overrated and it is a matter of time before they lose to a team they are favored against.

Sixth, 3rd and Chavis will cure our 3rd down issues.

Seventh, Gerald Jones is back which will take pressure off D.Moore

I say we pull off the upset.

I know you are putting down cash to support your theories right?

It's also possible that UAB wasn't a "letdown" game, but an indicator of where this team is. I think people are trying to make themselves feel better about the performance by labeling it so.

saying we have a good record recently in Baton Rouge is quite the stretch, considering it's 2 games in the past 10 years.

And again the rest is a lot of hope.

The kids love the Chief. They will not let him fail in this one.

Give me a break. Chavis is just the benefactor of overwhelming talent. He is and always has been a mediocre defensive coordinator.

you're right. we will lose. why watch or follow if you dwell on the negatives and don't see the positives....the way you think is depressing.

i know this is a down year but good things are happening. we saw glimpses of what could be in the oregon and uf games and won a game we should've lost against uab. the team has progressed in different ways in each game. i'm optimistic about the rest of the season. the glass is half full. if you don't think so pour your glass out and fill it up with some other team champ chaser.

maybe so, but being from BR they're talking ab their defense being as good as their 03 and 07 D's w/ how they've started. Tons of speed up front and great DB play w/ an All-American in the MLB spot. They melted down w/ some frosh in the 4th qtr vs UNC no doubt, but outside of that qtr, it's been a scary defense.

He's been a good one for LSU. Chavis inherited a #56 scoring defense and turned it into a #11 scoring defense last year. This year so far he has a #5 scoring defense.
