Tennessee's won 4 of the last 6, and all 6 years UGA was supposed to be the better team. I'd say we have their number.

if tennessee puts up those kind of point totals, the people of the state of tennessee should stop giving 10% to their church and give 10% to dooley and his staff.

I remember last year, they were supposed to definitely be the better team. 2007 we were supposed to take another whipping from them. 2006 was the same story. On top of that they beat the worst Vols team in 30 years in Athens by only 12 points and we had plenty of opportunities to win that game too IRC. I'd say we've had their #

If, in the last decade, going 4-6 vs a team means you have their number, then we are 1 game away from having Florida's number(3-7) and we own Alabama(5-5).

Whoever wrote that ought to be shot for the poor grammar. Also the guy is out of his frickin' mind if he thinks Florida is going undefeated, Brantley might be the future of their program but he's got enormous shoes to fill, still stranger things have happened (see also: Tee Martin). Florida wins the division easily but with at least 1 loss possibly 2 depending on how healthy they are. We shouldn't lose to UK and I doubt UGA wins 9 games.

Don't forget we also have the longest all time winning streak over UGA, so we've had their number for a long time. Essentially we are to them what Florida is to us.

I'd say that's a helluva lot of offensive firepower for us. Hope that part of your prediction is at least remotely accurate.

Totally agree. I think the only way we win 7 or 8 is to keep the scoring low and grind out those wins. May mean a bunch of Tums by the end of the season.

true, but we've 3 out of the last 4 (and by wide margins when we do at that)


also sidenote: 10 years isn't really the best stats to pull, football rotates so much every few years as far as how good or bad these teams are that's it doesn't serve as really the best comparison as compared to the more recent games in series

Can;t argue the overall record, but I feel like we can take LSU this year, may lose to Georgia.
