Oh well. Might be better for Oklahoma and Florida to believe that. More fun to watch their faces crack in horrified shock when they get a nasty dose of reality .

Well to be fair we are pretty young on the DL, but the Cam Sutton thing is stupid, just more motivation for him.

We still are a very young team and counting on 3 true freshmen to have a impact K-MAC, Tuttle, AND Kirkland, by the end of the season we will have a top 3 Defense in the SEC, thats not even counting Phillips and he could be this years version of Barnett all the others getting the hype, but in the end he might be the best, the only thing keeps K-MAC of the field is a injury he will be Freshmen AA, and a couple more have a chance.

Man, I would be upset about this, but the article is from CFN of all places. That's like getting upset that your shirtless Alabama fan neighbor Rusty thinks UT is only going to go 6-6.

Well, I think we've proven that Maggit and Barnett make for a better DL than #9 in the conference. Sure, we're young but we return almost our entire defense from last year and we were way better than #9 last year in terms of sacks.

P.S. - If I get a new dog in the next 2 years, I am going to name him Barnett.

I can see the Vols Dline anywhere from 4th to 6th in the SEC, we'll see how the stars and injuries align.

Our D's statistical jump from 2013 to 2014 was amazing. We return everyone on the line, our freshman that broke Clowney's frosh sack record and was 2nd in the SEC in TFLs is a year older. Oh we also brought in 3 5* recruits for the line, one of them was rated a top 5 player without even playing his senior year. This isn't Bear Bryant's "pencil in a loss for every freshman you start" era of football.
