I've heard that GT will get the Orange Bowl whether or not they win the ACC Championship Game. The AJC even mentioned to possibility of that. I think UT plays Duke in the Music City Bowl.

I don't know if I want Duke because so many people nationally still think of them as the old Duke. If we win, some people will say, "But it was against Duke. Big deal." While if we lost, that could be a big strike against us for some.

WVU is a good team. Haven't seen their last few games but what I've seen earlier this year they have a pretty good qb with some speedy receivers.

Umm, no! He started out ok, but got his bell rung against TCU and has been dismal since. BTW, he's a 175 lb qb, Curt and Barnett shyte bigger than him. Their receivers, yes, are quick and elusive, rbs are ok, and their oline is not great.

We will not be playing West Virginia. You guys are dreaming and so is CFN. If we only get one team in the playoff which is very very likely and maybe even no SEC teams, that would put 12/11 teams in 10 bowl slots meaning we would drop to a lesser bowl probably a non-SEC tie in bowl game.

With the way we played against Vandy & Mizzou, I'm not sure we could win a bowl game against any of the matchups posted.

I'm excited about our players going to a bowl, not just for the game, but for all the free stuff and fun they will have. I hope they win, but I also hope they have fun as a team at the city of the game.

These players have been through a lot and deserve it.

Anyone know/guess which injured players have a chance to be healthy and play in the bowl game?

WVU kicked 2 or 3 game winning field goals from about 50 to not be 4-8, 5-7. I've watched a few games and they are not very good. Their defense isn't 120th bad anymore, but it's still pretty bad. Their offense is very mediocre since TCU spilled the beans on locking up the Kevin White dude. FWIW they struggled for 3 quarters with a 2-9 team to end the season.

I'd like us pretty easily if Hurd is healthy for the game. Their defensive line would be similar to South Carolina/Kentucky. Our offensive line is our limiting factor atm.

You might want to turn on the TV next time, cause I'm not sure what you were watching.

1) Took Bama to 4 quarters (Trailed by 3 the half, was withing 7 in the 4th)

2) Took Oklahoma to 4 quarters (Tied at the half, lead by 3 in the 3rd)

3) Beat #5 Baylor by 14

4) Lead #4 TCU entire game until losing on a game winning FG

5) Lost to #9 KSU by 6 points

Yes, have went through QB issues but the backup has played well and would have beaten KSU if he played the entire game. Their special teams are horrible and they have trouble holding onto the ball. Their defense blitzes alot and could give UT O-Line trouble.

This is not a matchup we want. Would rather take Texas or ND or any ACC team.

If they dont turn the ball over, they are a top 15 team.

If they don't turn the ball over they're a top 15 team? lmao.

You realize there are about 60 teams that could say that?

Hell, if UT "didn't turn the ball over" we'd be 9-3 and top 15 as well.

We lost 3 games by a combined 12 points. They won 3 of their games by a combined 9 points in a league where a mountain west TCU has come in and taken over completely. They're 9 points (against very bad teams) from being 4-8 and trying to figure out how many pennies they can scrape up to show Dana Holgorsen the door.

As for your examples. I could poke holes in every one, but what's the point. When it comes right down to it, they're a 7-5 team that doesn't pass the eye test for anything better.

None of our match ups scare me. We are capable of winning or losing to each of these teams. However, since turnovers aren't part of the game, I guess we can't count on those to factor in at all.

If they didn't turn the ball over...crackin me up.

I don't think Tn could win a WV match up. Unless WV don't have a Def with a pulse.
