Celtics vs Heat ECF

Lebron went crazy.

Where does this rank all time in elimination game performances?

Oh how the media cracks me up.

Now the Celtics are too old, hit a fan, and the Heat will walk with it if LeBron plays like this.

I do not understand this reasoning; are you saying that LeBron will turn in two straight HOF performances because he is a Hall of Famer? Can you then turn around and say that Pierce, who will be heading to the Hall, will turn in two abysmal performances?

If Pierce was on tonight, this game would have been within 10 in the last five minutes; that is saying something, considering LeBron turned in 45.

Game seven is all set to be a classic.
What I'm talkin' bout.

Right the eff up there.

Wilbon made a good point that a) Game sevens is what Boston does and b) they are more prone than anybody of turning in a turd one game then blowing the doors off the next

I think LeBron probably can carry that determination and focus over to game seven, but Doc and his crew are going to bring it.

Pierce is wore down. He cannot guard Lebron and play well offensively at this stage. His age caught up with him tonight he had absolutely no legs and was limping at times. If they wee three years younger I would agree.

By the way Milo that is what is fun about this sport and that's the discussion surrounding it. Hope you are right and we have a classic but Boston just looked old tonight in front of their own crowd. Just don't see it getting better on the road this time.

Not the first time they've looked like fossils this postseason... They still come back to shred.

Philadelphia doesn't count. The big difference was Sporlstra acting like a coach and switching Lebron and Wade to rondo. When Chalmers is on bench you got to have Lebron at pg and he finally realized that as well. They finally have a big body on Rondo, length on Garnett, and Pierce being wore down by Lebron. I'm going to stick by 10 or more point win.

I'm giddy. I love all time NBA performances.

Heat will win Game 7.

Wade and James have shared duties on Rondo all series long. Along with Chalmers and Cole of course.

It was an all-time performance....ever...in any situation.

Thing is, if they don't win game 7, the same criticism will be there.

Dare I say most scrutinized athlete ever?

Not consistent enough. Chalmers has to guard Allen. In 2nd half I can't remember Chalmers guarding Rondo one time. Van Gundy made it a point too. Wade is annoying defensively. So much skill but at times he just doesn't care and gives a half ass effort. Reminds me of Rudy Gay in that aspect. When Wade gives the effort he did in 2nd half on that end of floor they are hard to beat.

Easy. Not enough close.

I don't know if you did or not, but ready the Simmons/Gladwell exchange on Grantland about LeBron. It's fantastic reading.
