I'm guessing he won't be high on the list of Fantasy Football enthusiasts....

uh, no. Probably not.

I hate that for him.

That's pretty cold.
Why is that cold? If you've never been involved, production on the field is important. I love Cedric but his performances in the NFL haven't been spectacular and now this right before camp starts. I'm sorry, everybody will pick him in the first or second rounds based on his potential...

WOW Too bad! With CM retiring, he would have had a great shot of stepping into the TB position and making some noise.

Best of luck Ced.

I always liked Ced, I wish him all the best, I hope it's not some substance abuse thing.

Jones would have been the starter. If they thought Ced was good enough to be their primary back they wouldnt have went out and made that trade. I like Ced but he isn't going to win out a position battle against a very good RB in Jones.

He's been a backup and has averaged a respectable 3.5 ypc. Not bad for a sixth round pick. Betty George made a carreer off 3.5 ypc.

Is this the same condition that they found right after his senior year?

Nobody knows. I read something yesterday that he was stepping back to try and determine if he wanted to keep playing because football wasn't a priority in his life anymore.

:dunno:

His performance on the field may have been happered by the fact he was having a hard time overtaking an all pro RB in Curtis Martin. But I agree with VKB in that between Washington and Jones, Ced would have had to fight for any PT.

Is this the same condition that caused him to run his mouth and say if he had it to do over again he would never come to Tennessee?

Wah...sounds like another tap out.

if he really said that, boy, that leaves a really, really sour taste in my mouth

I have a hard time believing he said that. He was a four year starter and managed to get drafted in the third round. What more could he reasonably expect?

If he really said that, it may have more to do with the string of deaths he had in his family and perhaps wishing he had been closer to home. Not an anti-Tennessee statement. Just an opinion

when you see very erratic behavior like that, you've got to think drugs may be involved. Other than Tillman, who just walks away from a great job in the League
