+1. I think Kiffin suffered culture shock, and it may have had a lot to do with his decision to bail, instead of hanging on until he had a chance to build this program.

I think they should kill Vol Calls and just change it to where folks can e-mail in their questions. Some of the callers reflect terribly on the state and we get lumped in with all the yahoo's out there.

Oh you know this is something he's joking with the west coast dudes about. I'm sure the words 'red neck' and 'hillbillies' are the nicer variations of what he's describing the fan base as. He and Farmer Fran probably get their kicks laughing about this now.

You know i am gettin tired of OUR fans complaining about OUR fans. It used to make me sick reading this thread every week tryin to find info and having to weigh through all the posts about trying to make Kiffin comfortable and what he must think about us dumb hillibillies. I really could care less what his opinion of us "hillbillies" or "rednecks" are. he can suck a big one an so can anyone else that puts down OUR fans. get on the same page and quite worrying about what that POS thinks about us. I would take Billybob saying UGGHHH and being a genuine fan over his too cool West Coast lying Crap. If you hate it that bad Dont Listen to it ,you have the option. Yeah we have our Yahoos here but they do bleed Orange and thats more that Laney did.There , i feel better now.

well said,and I'm sure anywhere you go there is people that don't like what is asked on call in sports show,but at least they are willing to call in and say what is on there mind,whether you like it or not,oh wait that is a hillbilly,of which they are truly not many true hillbillies left ,which is a sad thing

I agree, but the correct phrase is "I could NOT care less". I wouldn't normally point this out, but Kitty is such a POS that it needs to be clarified. He is the lowest of scum.
