I'm worried how Clay Travis would handle such a defection
Don't know all the in and outs of recruiting but he seems like a nice get
We need dline help, always good to get a Nashville guy ever year too

Nashville media man-crush on vandie-dandie Franklin laughable. Lusting after their recruits is like 2nd helpings of pablum & zwiebacks.

A recruit stretching the truth. Shocking. If he shows me 10 letters a day from UT I will parachute into the Montana game naked.

and the challenge has been issued....might want to get that cleared with sour-cur-ro-tee first....

Does he have the same "handler" as Kimbrow. If so, I would believe he got 1 letter only after I saw it and examined it for legitimacy. 10 letters? Sounds like a diva to me.

UT sending 10 letters per day? Sounds old school to me. Maybe they should send Telegrams or use Carrier Pigeons instead.

The staff is on Taylor and a good chance that we get him. Then there are four others that the staff wants before Abdul the butcher.

It would be safe to say that the dream team recruiting class at Vandy starts coming apart this weekend.

If we could lure him away he would become our third highest rated recruit behind McNeil and Bowles, according to Rivals.

Haha, agreed. Honestly, if a kid signs to play football at Vandy, I begin to question his drive to compete (and sexuality).

These kids are about to see the hellhole they just signed up for.

As a lifelong die hard Big Orange fan, I hate to admit to this site that I am actually a Vandy grad, class of 1978. My dad was (God rest his soul) a 1950 UT grad who introduced me to UT football at a very early age. I would love to see my alma mater do well in football, but it will never, ever happen on a consistent basis. The best team VU has had in the last 50 years was the 1974 team, when I was a freshman. Finished 7-3-2 and beat Florida when they were ranked in the top 5. After that, my last 3 years we stunk and everyone knows what they've done since. They will never be able to consistently recruit the talent it takes to be consistently competitive in the SEC.

I'm saying this because I cannot understand why any kid with good SEC potential would want to go to school there to play football. Good academics (though probably over rated and certainly over priced if you have to pay for it now), poor fan support for football, facilities for football that are probably the worst in the conference, and I could go on.

So - any of you good kids who have committed to Vandy, you should reconsider.
