Did CDD continue the Tennessee Drill? I know this is something TN had done for years during fall camp (one O player v. one D player, while the team watches)

Just wondering because the media made such a big deal of it before giving it its own name and writing articles about it each year. Didn't see anything written about it this year.

So anyone know?

Chavis brought a version of it to LSU last year and they are still doing it. They call it the "Big Cat Drill" .

I think every football team in America runs that drill..

We started doing it when I was playing pee-wee and continued it through high school (its called Oklahoma and has been since the beginning of time)

Its more fun with two linemen, a RB on offense, and two linemen and a LB on defense.

Other fun drills are Thunder Alley and Bull in the Ring (although they outlawed this while I was in HS)

This is seriously against the law??? How do you outlaw a drill that simulates something that happens over and over in a game?

Probably a freshman got lit up in the drill and his mama and daddy went whining to the administration or something. Pussies!!

Does TN still do this drill? I am just curious because i remember it being such a widely covered deal when CPF was here. Haven't heard much about it recently.
