UT vs UF and UT vs UGA may not have been the best SEC games of the week, but they are the most intriguing year in and year out. Would you rather watch MSU vs Vandy??

Because CBS knows we're kind of like Pavlov's dogs. Anytime we hear rocky top we think we're about to see a win, we turn on the TV and the mayhem begins...

They are not televising UT. They are wanting to see if Alabama is undefeated before they decided to televise that game. We are now to the point in which we play for TV only when the other team is worthy.:frown:

Here is a hint: CBS used to schedule our games for the country to see the Vols. Now it is because we play Florida, Georgia and Alabama. Any questions?

CBS wants to be the ones that catch all the misery that is currently UT football and the possible firing of coach Phil Fulmer...Typical big time sports news is what it is..Stay tuned folks

I think its cause the vols are kind of like Michael Jackson or a really bad car wreck on the highway...you don't want to look but you watch just to see how F'd up it really is.

Don't you turn your head and look at an accident while driving by even though you don't want to. It's human nature.

But seriously, Lex has it right IMO. The other teams are what people are watching these days.

don't care why they put it on as long as I can watch in HD. Never know when we'll jump up and bite someone these days (wow that's sad to write)

Its all about ratings. They know we will watch the game. Same reason NBC has all the ND games.

As much as I hate to say it. I think this upcoming bama game is going to be footballs version of a televised execution.

Yep, I believe Saben will put up triple digits against us if he gets the chance. Maybe JPW will turn back into the Crompton like QB he used to be and we'll be the upset special of the day!

A person could only hope that last part is true. Maybe their D coach could turn into chavis and play prevent defense as well. :)

No, CBS does not hate Tennessee. They put on the games they think will bring in the most ratings. Its that simple... no more, no less.
