CBS' (un) Timely Larry Munson's call backfired.

it's tough enough sitting through these gut wrenching games, but sitting through them with those CBS idiots is enough to start taking ecstasy. God is definitely testing the vol faithful.

Please please PLEASE start taking ecstasy. Would be the single greatest event in pf history.

I hate being on CBS, but love to hear the defeat in their voice when we win.

How gratifying would it be to go 4-0 through the stretch and Gary and Verne have to call all of it?

This would be sweet karmic justice for the most ones sided calls ever the last two weeks.

The thing is every school thinks the national announcers hate them when all that's happening is the announcers are doing is going underdog because they want a competitive game. A rout either way means millions of viewers are changing the channel. When Tennessee got down by 17 they were pumping up the Florida and Va. Tech come backs. The TV guys only care about one thing eyeballs. What ever they can say to keep the viewing public tuned in they will. So if you ask a Dawg fan he will say "Dang we're up 17 and all Gary talks about is the Vols coming back like they did against Florida! He hates us!" All this Gary hates us, Verne hates us, ESPN hates us is the same conspiracy crap some folks lay on the officials favoring one team over another. Officials want to get it right but sometimes screw up. Announcers don't care either way either they're just pumping whatever they think will keep viewers interest and keep in mind the overwhelming majority of those viewers are neither Vols or Dawgs they just want to see an exciting game.

Thank you. Just, thank you.

Replay the ending of the game:

Not only were Vern/Gary reminding all of the Hobnail Boot radio broadcast, but they also made the comment of Eason's late TD pass that "this is the stuff legends are made from". One late TD and Eason was about to become a GA legend!

What BS those two spew during their broadcasts.

Ditto!!
Not sure why anyone has an issue with Danielson. Thought he did a very good, and balanced, job throughout the entire game.

I thought he went a little nutso when the UGA player went out of bounds and came back in for the catch. Danielson was about to wet his pants saying a UT coach (guy in the green shirt) was interfering with the play. The refs didn't seem to notice or mind, nor many else, however Danielson wouldn't let it go and insisted the replay be shown of it.
