I'll do it OWB-we always play better when we are the underdog - especially when we are the underdog in the most important poll out there-the Jason Horowitz/Johnny Rosenstein Poll.

Now rest easy that it has been said, and GO VOLS!!!

Scout.com: Cavalcade of Whimsy - Can Wolfe hit 3,000?

from CollegeFootballNews...

4. Georgia is way, way, way overrated
Georgia being ranked tenth in the AP poll and ninth in the Coaches Poll basically lets you know that the pollsters aren’t watching as much college football as you. Oh sure, the Bulldog defense is playing at a national title level, but there’s no way, no how, anyone could’ve watched all five Georgia games this year and still picked it ahead of Tennessee, Oregon, LSU, Clemson, or California in the rankings. If you need an unbeaten team to rank high, put Missouri up there. The Tigers handled Colorado team without a problem a week after the Dawgs needed a last minute touchdown pass to beat the Buffs. With that said, Tennessee is up this week and Florida is at the end of the month. There are chances to prove itself worthy of the top ten.

more from CFN....

Scout.com: SEC Fearless Predictions , Week 6, Part 2

What Will Happen: Tennessee will show that it deserves to be considered among the ten best teams in the country. It'll be a defensive struggle early, but the Vol offense will connect on two big plays to break the game open. Sort of. Don't expect a high scoring affair.
CFN Prediction: Tennessee 19 ... Georgia 16 ... Line: Tennessee -2.5

and one more from CFN, their expert picks...

I couldn't find their Week 1 picks, but I'm sure all 5 of those "yahoos" picked Cal to route the Vols in week 1, as well. =)

I don't put much stock in predictions. It's fun to read but, IMO, if these great oracles who pick winners knew half as much as they'd like for you to believe, they'd all be multi-millionaires from winning bets.

Beano Cook picked UGA this morning. Now I really like our chances.

Georgia will beat TN if we don't play to our strengths. If we go in there and insist on establishing the run first, they will more than likely stuff us, gain the momentum and then dominate the game. We have to open up the game in the air and then send the big orange army in late in the game to secure the field.

Yes- hopefully Foster can knock off that rust quickly and start pounding away! Then we can send Coker blazing around the corners =) And have Hardesty run over a few Dawgs on the way to the end zone (stop dancing H-dawg!!!)

They all pick Texas Tech over Mizzou too...

And? TT wins by at least a TD I think. Missou hasn't beaten anybody.

Anyway, CBS sportsline's "experts" ALLLLLLL picked Cal to beat us. Sooooooooo ... there.

I don't know about airing the ball out. Honestly, the only way I think Georgia beats us is if they get a big INT return. Also, a special teams return could swing it in their favor. Hopefully Ainge won't force anything and our special teams will be halfway decent. Also, our D-line and linebackers better be ready, because they are going to try to run it down our throats.

If Tennessee can keep the pressure off of Ainge I think we have a big win. If Georgia pressures Ainge it will be a long long long night.

Mizzou is my pick, by 2 TDs. We'll see in a couple of days...
