The team can use the extra practice and no matter where Tennessee goes it's better than spending the Holidays watching other teams play and not UT.

They're not a great team. They'd be about where we are in the SEC.. That's a toss up game with maybe a ND a slight favorite, TD or less. Probably be a good game. Kelly has a little more depth to work with.. System has been in place longer.

I wouldn't like to play either one of those teams. They both have big strong O-lines that will wear our d-line out and run for 200 plus. There d-lines are both good at stopping the run and Iowa always plays well against SEC teams in a bowl. 2005 vs lsu and last year against lsu. The prediction of UT vs ND in the belk bowl would be a decent game if UT can get some guys healthy.

We're not going to duck a halfway decent team in a bowl game. Bring whoever on. It really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things..

I just hope all of our guys are healthy whoever we play. I'd love to beat Notre dame.

For those asking their defense is ranked around 80th in the country as a whole. Idk how good their Front 7 are but they are starting some freshman at MLB and in the secondary. Tough opponent but would be a fun game to watch however they probably end up playing PSU in the pinstripe bowl.

The two guys on the ESPN website have Tennessee playing Duke in the Music City Bowl and West Virginia in the Liberty Bowl.

Buddy of mine is a hard core Irish fan and says this should be a great match up for UT. Irish have had a lot of injuries on defense, which is why they got destroyed by USC.

Here's the diffeence, butch wins these games now and our previous two coaches wouldnt have. Actually, I have no idea about kiffin since he was here for like a minute.

IMO I think the ND matchup is the best for us right now. Its two storied programs that will draw a lot of attention around the country. Not to mention its a Prime time game in NC where we are trying to establish recruiting...

It would be nice to control NC recruiting like UT did in years past.
